1st he wanted to leave because of the "media" and it would be hard to say no to Madrid.  He said these things to try get out of our club while keeping the fans happy.  Soon it became clear that Madrid weren't that pushed on him.

Then he went further and admitted he wanted to leave for a CL club and is even prepared to leave us for Arsenal!  Who haven't even won a trophy in almost a decade.

When we rejected their bottom of the barrel offer he then threw his toys out of the pram and ran to the premier league to step in.

This is a player who has been suspended for (i think) 14 games so far in his short time with us, with 6 more to go.
Its time for us to get rid.

If he stays, I can only imagine his behaviour on the field getting worse.

Maybe Jac, but I believe that as the World Cup is looming, he'll buckle down and keep his head (and fangs) down. He will not want to lose the opportunity to play in such a major competition.

Suarez will play in the World Cup regardless of what happens ( if Uruguay qualify ) but you're right - his place in the squad is lost now - need to sell him.

So Madrid's owner Perez now says that he will not meet Spurs evaluation, and that €100M is too high.

I actually want us to sell Suarez to Madrid for £40,000,002

Only Me - If we could find a like for like replacement I would sell him but not to a rival.I don't subscribe to selling him and buying two players unless of course we get lucky and get two PC's !!! He is a problem and he will now bring even more unrest among supporters and the team as demonstrated by your somewhat scathing description of a guy that not long ago like the rest of us you probably adored.

Very easy for you simply to dismiss John Henry's comments. I for one prefer a style of ownership that does not role over and give in to player demands.

He is a frustrating little fkr though isn't he !!!  :help

how are us fans going to feel about him if he plays........are we going to be on his back every time he don't get a goal and say he is not trying?

Think the bridges have been well and truly burned now for a lot of supporters - he gave the ultimate slap in the face. Carra has already stated that when he is training his heart is no longer in it and you can tell the difference from last season.

He is as good as gone - definitely gone in spirit and mind , just the body is left.

We eiher sell him abroad or not at all, its as simple as that. i think he'll stick around, apologise and at least give a good impression of a decent striker.

I imagine the club will be making inquiries with foreign clubs, such as Real who might offer a player exchange + cash. In the meantime, I don't think Suarez' party will be saying much more other than an apology. The owners and BR have been clever in their silence. Luis has obviously been trying to provoke the management with his paper talk, ultimately I imagine to make leaving easier. It didnt work, our owners sat back whilst Luis unwisely played every hand in his deck, knowing they held all the aces.

Unless he's going abroad, Suarez ain't going anywhere. He dosent hate us. He did this for selfish reasons. Don't hate him. This is nothing more than immature petulance. He will learn a lot from this and our perseverance will reap the benifits. He will apologise soon I hope. If he does, just pat him on the back and call him a daft idiot. That's what he is. Just like Gazza, Rooney, Maradona and countless other brilliant players. Ain't got two brain cells to rub together.

Would take a player swap plus cash from Madrid - Di Maria possibly or Morata plus £30mil but think staying at the club will not work out now for us.

I don't see why it wouldn't work out. Obviously his apology must be sincere, holding his hands up to his stupidity. I don't think Suarez' stance has been anti-Liverpool, and indeed as soon as he felt he'd insulted the club, he's started to backtrack, stating the fans have been brilliant through all this. Of course he needs to say that incase he dosent move, but I bet he's upset too. If he's to play for us again, he needs to show humility, and if the likes of Stevie G and Agger can welcome him back and keep him on the straight and narrow, taking into account the managements hard line stance, then things will be better than ever. We've put up with a lot of sh*t from him in the past. Why chuck him now when it could all be about to pay off?

I'm sick and tired of this Suarez saga... I just want to now hear we have signed some new players... As far as I'm concerned we will be ok even if Suarez doesn't play...

... And that's because downing will be supporting whichever striker we're playing...  :wwww

Even my cats understand that we should get rid of this pr1ck...but the problem is WHOM do we sell him to and WHO is available for us to sign? It's easy talking in front of your computer screen treating this like a game of Football Manager or Monopoly but it is not as simple as when there are millions and strategies involved. Selling him to Arsenal is a non-issue and Henry have already made that very clear and you don't see anyone in the hurry to sign him up right?

Besides Brendan must be worried that if he signed someone not approved by Benny, he will have to hear his b1tching all over again!

The issue is that RM don't have the money.they have high debts. We'd want cash up front, not installments like they've done before.

Madrid still owing money from the Modric deal so I'm sure Levy will want a significant % of cash up front...watch the deal collapse and Perez will say Spurs asking price is too high

Once the transfer window closes probably. I dont think Suarez is the type to play anything but 100%.
I dont think the transfer saga is over though, and i wonder how this will affect the team.

That is why removing him from the squad now is the right thing. Once the transfer window is over, if he is still here he can rejoin the squad but until then he keeps well away.

And then the rest of the squad will magically forget whats happened this summer and Suarez will be completely transformed?
