I really like Suarez, he's grown on me and I'd say I have a strgoner affinity with him than any of the names you say. Naming Messi is particularly ridiculous.

The other two I'd swap for but purely if Suarez didn't want to be here

and yes, Suarez is amongst the best in the world, maybe not the top 3 but he's up there, trouble is he's the best we're gonna get right now, saying you'd swap him for them three doesn't support your argument, name someone BETTER we can replace him with

Which argument is that ?

My initial point was that Suarez wouldn't get into a world XI because there are better out there than him.

Not said we can replace him with better

Sell for 40-50 add 10-20 and go for 3 top quality players. He clearly doesn't want to be here. If I take his long ban and Sturridge injury we should be pushing for a quick quality replacement.

If we want to have a strong start to the season we must act now.

That depends on the team tho, on a front 3 Suarez would easily get in cos he's better rounded than Falcao or Cavani. I'm not saying Suarez is better in general because as a goalscorer I'd take Falcao. Suarez' contribution to our team is a sh!tload more than goals

Anyway I don't see why that's being argued. that has nothing to do with LFC and what we do with him

With everything taken into consideration then both Falcao and Cavani would be in my top 11 supported by Messi and Ronaldo

Suarez is a top quality player but just misses too many chances and is at times too selfish. I would even have a fully fit and on form Torres ( when he was with us ) over Suarez.

F.uck Suarez, if he wants to act like a sulking kid who didn't get the toys he demanded he can go and sit out the rest of the tour in the hotel as he waits for that phone call that will change everything!

I hope Rodgers is starting negotiations for a replacement asap.

If the money is there we should get in the replacement first. Don't want to get caught out selling him close before the start of the season. Every tom dick and harry will be inflating prices then. Will probably suffer from that a bit now but not as much if we sell him first.

Agreed. I just want the £50m and him out now. He was booed at the PFA awards, he's booed everywhere he goes, been done for racism, been done for biting; its clear not many people in the league are fans of Suarez and we stood by him. Let him go and be done. Get Soldado in, maybe Eriksen or a box to box type then a centre back. We'll be a better unit for it. If he wants out then that'll effect the team should he stay, I know he's class and difficult to replace but we walk on.

£50m for a 26 year old toxic Suarez isn't a bad deal

Might as well discuss who can replace him now, admittedly there isn't a lot  :lookaround

Michu, Soldado, Cordozo, Llorente(?), El Shaarawy, Lukaku, Martinez, Damiao

Even some of them are unrealistic

80% chance he will go now really and Arsenals bid just open the door to talks and to try and convince
him to consider a move there.

Wont only be them of course and you would expect Madrid to enter the picture and wouldn't be surprised
to see Chelsea join the bidding either.

We sold Torres to a rival no reason to suspect Suarez will be any different and he just wants out by the
look on him today.

Can anyone see us selling to Arsenal for anything less than 50-55Mil? I hope we dig our heels in on this one. If Madrid don't come calling we should force him to stay another year.

I can see us selling if he hands in the request to go, we'll meet at £45m I reckon

All things considered Suarez wasn't as prolific as Torres, adored nor as marketable. £45m isn't a bad deal, though I'd like us to bleed them for a bit more

We can kiss goodbye to any hopes we have of finishing fourth if we sell to Arsenal. I'd sooner see us accept £5-10m less from a foreign club than do a deal with them.

With Suarez wanting to talk to Arsenal that will pretty sort out his reasons for wanting to leave - forget all the ***** about media - it's all about the CL

It says a lot about our ambitions if we sell Suarez, especially if he goes to Arsenal.

Our ambitions aren't looking high when you look at the signings we have made this summer compared to the teams we will be fighting for 4th

With the money spent we can have bought two quality first team players which could have given a message to Suarez that we mean business - if supporters aren't excited about the signings then I can't see someone like Suarez being excited
