There have been a host of attackers linked - Soldano, Eriksen the biggest, and I'm not sure we'd get either.

Who might the left back be I wonder?

So no CB or DM ? Or two biggest problem areas !

Soldado is a quality player but for the fee Valencia want and his age i cannot see it happening here.

He's older yes, but only a year & 8 months older than Suarez, so certainly not over the hill.

His age should have nothing to do with it - the Mancs spent 20 plus million on a 30 year old and he won them the title. Soldaldo is a proven striker who will score goals.

It seems though that Spurs are in talks to sign him - that will be there second quality signing of the summer

Im not too sure whether we are in for a CB or not but we certainly don't seem to be in for a DM.
I don't think Rodgers really wants an out and out destroyer type Midfielder.

The days of having an out and out midfield destroyer are slowly coming to an end. Game is evolving where the better teams want central midfielders to be all rounders and have more strings to their bows

Biggest flaw with Rodgers is his lack of focus on the defensive side of the game, be it the players themselves or the defensive organisation.
I have always beleived you build a winning team from the back end out, but Rodgers seem to think the opposite.
