He seemed to have potential when he was at Hamburg and at the World Cup. Sh*t ever since though.

Aw Christ , not another South American "hot prospect".

Coates won the best young player of Copa America 2011 award and look how that's turned out  :(

Coates is still a good player - just been shoved to the sidelines

Lucas turned out well , Coutinho was also a South American " Hot Prospect" at one time

Latest rumour (for the rumour of the day thread) is that if (when) Suarez is sold we will being in David Villa to replace him, here is the article and a link to the source :)

Liverpool are said to be keen on luring Barcelona forward David Villa, if Luis Suarez, as expected forces a move out of England. The Merseyside club have already added Iago Aspas and Luis Alberto up front, but both the players are far from proven quantities in front of goal and hence the addition of Villa, who is a striker of the highest quality could guarantee goals to the Reds.

The Reds are doing their very best to hang onto their mercurial striker, Luis Suarez, but with Real Madrid expected to make an offer for the Uruguayan International, Liverpool would be hoping that they can bring the long-drawn saga to a swift conclusion before the commencement of pre-season training.

If Suarez indeed decides to quit Anfield, his club are not willing to lose him on the cheap but parting ways with the controversial player could free up further funds for Rodgers to spend as the manager aims to bring back the glory days at Anfield.

According to reports in Spain, Villa is the leading contender to replace Suarez and Liverpool are confident they can get him for a bargain price. Villa has reportedly told his boss Tito Vilanova that he wants to quit the Camp Nou this summer and the Reds are confident of landing

Mamadou Sakho has confirmed that we, as well as Milan are interested in signing him as he's put off signing a new contract at PSG.

I think many would be relatively excited about Sakho coming, but with PSG and Milan trying to tie him down I wouldn't get my hopes up.
