More worrying than his 'come and get me' plea was the other stuff he said. He pulled out the family card. Thats when you know a player is adamant about leaving and making his request public without disrespecting the fans.

there`s actual quotes there from the horses mouth saying he`s not happy, tbh it`s not looking good, he obviously wants out. cant say i blame him, the press have been on his case almost from the moment he arrived.
he`s played his last game in a red shirt imo.
despite the baggage he was a tremendous player for us.
no doubt we`ll try to replace him with the spanish version of david nugent to play alongside the spanish version of borini who we`ve just blew half our transfer warchest on.

Yes because it's all down to the FA and nothing to do with a CL coming calling offering him a chance to play on the big stage whilst we struggle to even get into the Europa.

If he goes it will because we can't offer him the level if football that he wants.

Just like Torres before hand.

If nothing had happened Madrid would have still come calling and Suarez would still be tempted.

i'm still maintaining that he'll stay for one more season. but then again i'm generally an optimist.

if he does leave then the money has to be re-invested properly. we need to be demanding 50m+

Great player, bit of an eejit. Hope it get sorted quickly so we can use the money to buy. Sturridge was stretchered off tonight injured, it didn't look good, so we need some more firepower.

Always possible a satisfactory bid won't materialise.

Because I would expect our CEO etc not to be stupid enough to put in such a low buyout clause and actually show some ability to run a football club.

There has never been any suggestion of such a buyout clause until now. Players with buyout clauses are regulary known about because agents ensure that teams know about them. If Suarez had a buyout clause so low you can guarentee that teams would have activated by now exactly how Bayern have with Goetze

well he knew suarez wanted out before anyone else said it, and by all accounts he is quite pally with suarez`s agent.

Probably has as much to do with the fact that we can't offer him CL football and Real Madrid can than anything he feels about the press. Fair enough if a player of his ability wants to test himself against the best.

It'll be a blow but get as much as we can and reinvest it wisely and we might be alright.
