FA rules state a 3 game ban for violent conduct. but they now reviewing it? why bother setting a standard? oh, I'm guessing fergie gave them a call

The FA will be wetting themselves with the opportunity to show the world how to handle a mad dog. "7 match ban from the Dutch FA? In punishing Suarez you would effectively be punishing LFC and therefore the supporters. How twisted are you?

So what exactly would you do right now with Suarez ? Not charge him or punish him

Rather than looking to punish Suarez for this, shouldn't rehabilitation be the order of the day considering Britain's a big nanny state?

Thommo I honestly don't know why you are bothering mate. BTG actually wrote on the 5th March that it doesn't bother him one single bit that Suarez bit another player and yet as soon as Luis steps out of line BTG behaves more like a Bluenose or a Manc. I've got him labelled as an attendee and that's assuming he has ever been to a game. He is nothing more than a wind up merchant.

Yes Luis has made another stupid mistake. The club are going to fine him and possibly ban him. The FA are going to fine him and ban him. The press are going to castigate him. I would not just hand him over to the cu'nts at the FA like you want to. Why would anyone want him to suffer like that?
You are conveniently missing (or maybe you cant comprehend) the point that a 7 game ban will punish LFC and ultimately will not probably have the desired effect.
You are a very simple person who talks in simple terms, which then dictates what action you see as a solution to the problem. I mentioned positive intervention because, with a ban already served for this type of incident, this has not deterred Suarez from carrying out a similar one. It is obvious that repeatedly banning him doesnt work and therefore, as an adult I would suggest other options are explored. That is, if we want to help Suarez and stop his unacceptable behaviour. If not, just keep banning him until he fu'cks off out of football altogether.
Then you will have what you desire

Thommo - no one is handing him over to the FA - he has been charged by them and has a chance to respond. The club have already confirmed his guilt and punished him and now the ruling governing body of the sport will act against him as the incident was happened during a game under their control.

He will get punished for the incident because that's the right course of action and Suarez will accept his punishment as will the club.

The club will be indirectly punished but that's not the FA's fault that's Suarez's fault - it's up to him to take responsibility for his actions and change - the club keep backing him - its time for him to return that and learn from his mistakes

He is a grown man who knows what is right and wrong - biting someone on a football pitch is wrong and he knows that and he will get punished for that.

You can try and twist things anyway you want - it won't change reality.

I can just image people on reacting a lot differently if Evra had taken a bite out of Suarez - I'm sure "rehabilitation" would be exactly what you would all be demanding
