No his fault and as I wrote before I was sure Hendo would turn into a decent footballer after a few years. But to carry those players for a few years
in the 1st team on the field is pure madness!
We are not Bolton or West Ham, we are LFC, meaning we should be able to get 1st team rdy players from the off and not be a developing team, because then you will end up in a vicious cycle always developing players.
Good enough players doesn't need fifty years to adapt.
Torres didn't, but you have Micchu as a perfect example. He was cheap, foreign, never played in england before and got 10 goals in no time. You have some players Newcastle bought last year.
I want close to fully developed players(24+) if they are to be a meaningful contributor to the 1st team instead of tearing my hair of for a couple of year first, which will make the whole team suffer a waste those years.

Good mate.

Jordan has been quietly improving and helping the side. He should be getting more credit than he is. He is not a "silky skills" player but he has been much more composed of late no doubt due to a little more confidence.

i think he has been immense myself, that £16m we spent on him is starting to look like a snip.
i just cannot believe the engine on the lad, he has got to be the fittest player in the league and his support play is nothing short of  phenominal, he covers every blade of grass and he is absolutely everywhere on the pitch, he`s almost f##king omni-present.
it was great to see him showing a bit of aggression and really biting into tackles too.
he is at the center of our pressing game and he`s not embaressed by the ball either, infact his all round game suits rodgers passing style to a tee and he looks really at home knocking the ball around in little triangles.
i thought apart from sturridge he was our best player.
well done hendo lad.

I  never had the slightest doubt that Jordan would become a top player for the reds .

I was very upset we were trying to trade him for Dempsey.  I wanted Dempsey, but not at the expense of Hendo.  I thought it was very clear that within a few years he'd become a good player for us.  I guess he just became a good player for us a bit sooner than I'd expected.

No complaints here.

I'm pleasantly surprised becuase he's been cr@p for the last 18 months, however one swallow doesn't make a spring so lets see him keep it up  and stamp his authority on both the team and games. I wonder what 'happened', something must have sparked off this transformation.

I somehow seem to remember that sometime somewhere, Gerrard said that Hendo will be the next Gerrard. I mean, maybe not, but I seem to have always thought of Henderson, as someone whom Gerrard had a role in bringing to Liverpool.

there`s a good piece in todays pink echo about hendo.
basically it`s just repeating what a lot of fans have been saying lately, namely that given our lack of athleticism in the center of the park hendo should be one of the first names down on the team sheet.
unless we buy a couple of ya-ya toure`s in the summer hendo is going to be a key player next season.

Henderson is providing everything BR wants from Allen but also more.

If BR had shown a little bit more faith in Henderson during the summer then we could have saved ourselves £15mil and not bought Allen.

I'm hoping that BR continues showing that faith in him

If Henderson had been playing like he has been then maybe B Rod would have had faith in him?

Henderson did a lot of unselfish work last season playing out of position. He was also playing very well for the England U21 and did a solid job when called upon for England. BR just didn't rate him hence trying to offload him during the summer. Him not being picked since the Zenit game and playing Allen instead was poor from BR.
