van persie is a great goalscorer but suarez is a great player.
i wouldnt swap luis suarez for any player in the league, if he played for united and had the old trafford hype machine and the media (although arent they the same thing?) behind him he`d have won player of the year and been knighted by now.

L.S. is on song now and like RVP is scoring in almost every match and for a mid table side like Liverpool, ideally all the goals should be evenly distributed among the players. If it's a one man team and you're a mid table side, guess what will happen? The richer and better teams in top 4 and in Spain will buy him over for more than 40M. Look at Ba, he was the Suarez of Newcastle and even Arsenal, a side in CL was not spared, their RVP sold to Manure. So a mid table side like Liverpool, I don't think will stand any chance in keeping Suarez when the likes of City, Chelsea, RM, Barca want him which I am sure they will in the summer when we finish somewhere in mid table and Suarez scores in virtually every match like Fowler used to do.

So that is why I want to see all the goals scored to be evenly distributed among all our players and not Suarez's goals is more than double the rest of the team put together and when we lose him which we will in the summer, it will be another step backwards for Liverpool. We only have the history to boast about, without CL football, we're going to lose our star players. If that happens, again we have the thick heads and moronic FSG to thank for their reluctance to invest heavily. The sooner those bas*tards are gone the better. to be fair to him since 2001/02 when arsenal last won the title the only teams to win the prem have been united, chelsea and city.
two of those 3 are owned by super rich billionaires and the other is arguably the biggest club on the planet.
realisically we arent going to dominate english football again by spending £12m here and £6m there.

there is too much money involved in this league for it not to be corrupt and when the chief exec of your club can also be a vice chairman of the governing body it proves it.
it goes back years to magnier,mc manus,murdock and the great rock of gibraltar which threatened to expose the famous 99 questions that quickly led to fergie dumping the togs at being exposed as the true cheat he is.

ferguson just went out and spent £24m on a 29 year old striker. thats hardly getting to the top by being frugal.
look at the other strikers he`s had over the past decade, berbatov cost them nearly as much as carroll and rooney was a fortune as well.
even at the start of the decade they had strikers like andy cole (who was a british record transfer in 95) and dwight yorke (who cost them £12.5m when the world record transfer fee was £15m).
thats without mentioning the £30m on ferdinand and the huge fee`s for the verons, pallister`s, keane`s etc etc
fergusons a great manager but he has spent big money as well, he hasnt got to the top on the cheap.

first half was so ridiculously isolated that he may aswell have been back in liverpool.

second half with support caused havoc. some of the interplay between him and sturridge was extremely encouraging.

they both looked good together and i'm really excited by what i saw.  Great link up play within mins of Sturidge coming on....image how they will be after a months?
