The lad can say he wants to stay until hes blue in the face it wont make any differance.

Technically he can if he refuses to sign for anyone then he stays. Look at Joe Cole

he has the attribute to become a good player but he needs to understand the game better.

We don't have to pay 18 million for a RB when we already have the England RB. I'm sure he'd make a good tea lady as well but its not what we bought him for.

a good performance for me, the only problem with hendo is himself.
he needs to have confidence in his own ability, and the manager man-management skill comes into play here.
in his play yesterday i see more confidence in hendo, he plays a few successful risky pass, get into the box, take a few shots
and make one good tackle.
his energy and stamina will be important to us in the centre of the field. clearly this boy has the physical and technical aspect to play
at this level, he just need to improve his mental aspect of the game to be a top player for us.

good post, I agree. I think he has worth to the squad. Rodgers always said he could work with Henderson, assignable because he has a good work ethic and a style that can fit in with Rodgers if he is on form.

He just needs to get some self belief.

Yeah but isnt't it amazing what we paid for a lad with no self belief and continue to pay on a weekly basis?

He's too mentally weak to be a top player at a top club. It's alright having the ability and he does, but if you don't have the required mental capacity, then you're about as useful as a chocolate tea pot.

Not only that. His "defending" for their first goal was diabolical.
Hes like a clueless, sh'ithouse kid who gets it wrong every time!

Hendesron is a dead man walking and any comments to the contrary from
Rodgers are to get him out at a decent price.

P@ss poor from day one, stinking the place out every day since.
