Ive got to be honest I havent seen much of this lad and I know Youtube can make anyone look amazing but from what I have just watched and what I have read this lad looks like a bargain for 7 million.  Fast and direct with a great touch.  He is exactly the type of midfielder we have been asking for, especially as Stevie is no spring chicken anymore.

So why did Johnson sign a big multi million pound contract back in Jan when he was spending most of the time sat warming the bench up.

He won't go anywhere and will play around 15-20 games next season and will be content.

Adam has had an offer he needs to consider carefully. It's from a big club and although financially it won't match City what it will do is guarantee him a starting place in the first team and improve his chances of featuring at the next World Cup for England. He has also had an offer to return to the North East too. all offers need consideration. It's up to him in the end

so make of that what you will

i get the impression he's wanting to play for England too which he would get by getting games. sitting on a bench at city is no good for him. Oh and just for the record, he's not driven by money to the extent he'd just sit and toss it off for a fat pay packet. however, while he's at City why the fuk should he not get paid a large sum of money? everyone else does! remember, a few years ago he knocked on our front door and offered to play for the same wage he was on at Boro! he doesn't give a sh!t about the cash.
