I for one am certain we are progressing the right way. A sobering thought, if last season when watching the one-man team that was Liverpool someone had said, "imagine if you didn't have Gerrard for two whole months". Would we seriously have been able to contemplate CL football and picking up points in the Prem? Here we are, ok inconsistent but not going too bad. We are progressing and are beginning to look like a football team on occasions. When Stevie comes back it will be like having a brand new 30 million pound signing. Things aint too bad boys.
One last thing, I know I've slagged the ridiculous transfer fee, but I see a glimmer of hope in Cisse. I think he'll score today and that roar from the Kop might just give him that spark of confidence. It won't be easy 'cos they're a better side than their league position suggests, but a win would put us in not a bad spot ta' very much.
