I share that view.

He is a livewire alright but we knew that when we signed him did we not? The biting incident, the handball at the WC, but people didn't really notice as whilst he was scoring he was pretty well behaved. I think someone like Luis is only behaved when he is enjoying his football. Assuming he doesn't get a further ban I think he will soon be back to his best.

Don't think we should sell him though, he has a lot of tooth about him (no pun intended) and that's something we have missed for a while. If anything id sell Carroll and get someone else who can play along side Suarez.

I understand what you're saying, but Saurez isn't Owen. Saurez is ..well, Saurez. All things have negatives and positives, and usually a positive is a direct "symptom" of a negative. We can only have the good from Saurez if we take this firey and controversial temprament too. We can't have it both ways. You want to cut our losses on him which is fair enough, but i'm definately in the other camp.

Agreed. Luis is our new Grobbelaar or Titi Camara. We've not had a player like that in a long time. And look at Saurez...he's not a bad man. He looks a genuinely nice person with a smile on his face. He loves our club too. His Facebook page shows that. His coming to us was the start of a big adventure he was very excited about. It's all going a bit pear shaped ain't it?  :(

The rose tined brigade can pretend all they like that Suarez went to shake Evra’s hand, but the fact is he blanked him and walked on by.  That, in my view, was a huge mistake.

Combine that with the fact that Kenny has (throughout this sorry saga) dissolved himself of any responsibility and you’ve got one f**king, festering mess. There’s no leadership, no moral guidance and no f**king clue form our management or player.

Right or wrong, he should have shaken his hand and moved on. Instead we’re back to f**king square one and LFC is being called a racist football club by the entire world.

you are a disgrace

Great response

I stand by my comment and a host of former Liverpool players have come out today saying similar things, Suarez has let us down and the fact that Kenny pretended he DIDNT KNOW anything about the handshake incident was another appalling incident. Either Kenny has been hugely naive or (if he didn’t know) he’s been lied to by his players....either way it’s a bad run of events.
But hey, it’s one big conspiracy, right?

Why let the facts spoil a good smear story hey Reg.

Can clearly see it wasn't half his head, it was just the top bit.

And Suarez did apologise.

Yeah, "biting half his head off" really is blowing the whole thing out of proportion isn't it? Thank God we don't normally exagerate! We'd be in a right sh*tstorm.

Oh..wait....

Reg. I know what you are saying but Bellamy was exactly the same in his younger days. He is now a calmed down version. If Luis is such a time bomb why didn't he smack Evra at the end of the game during his somewhat pathetic post match celebrations. I'm not sure anybody would have blamed him if he had. There is a list of players that I would get rid of before Luis.I know he whinges and moans but that is his style which I accept can be tedious but just how much real trouble other than the Evra saga has he been involved in? The finger at Fulham fans was as a result of the Evra issues.I'm not saying he's an angel but I can understand why he didn't shake the hand of an individual who has caused him massive personal problems by overly exaggerating an on the field spat! You'll be asking for the Giggs brothers to kiss and make up next. The hand shake is supposed to indicate respect for your opponent. How can Suarez possibly have any respect for Evra?

but WHY invite more bad press?  Why force the club to ensure more weeks of being labelled a racist club by the media?

THe reaction from the press was predictable....so the mature thing for Suarez to do was rise above it...shake the guys hand and move on.

why? Are you saying that this is not a complete bloody mess, have you read today's papers? Our club is being vilified and has been turned into a laughing stock all because one ignorant little Uruguayan pr1ck refused to shake someone's hand after promising Kenny he would.

It’s all a conspiracy, apparently.
Roy Keane was hiding behind the grassy knoll and started it all.   :D

Well I'm not sure I've ever read anything form you which strayed to far from the flock mentality, try coming up with an original thought once in a while.

I always support the club but when I see weak links I expose them, i.e I don't just blindly support all the players like you do. I imagine that you also supported Hicks and Gillett when they were in charge, seeing as you find it so hard to separate club and individual.
