Luis Suarez signs for Barcelona

It's the nature of the beast.. in the nicest way, that's what makes him the great player he is. Take that 'baggage' and fire away and you have half the player.

The booing will spur him on and the support form the team and us.. makes him devoted to us too...

BRING IT ON .... Mancs !!

Great player but these aren't great stats: PLAYED 18 GOALS 5 ASSISTS 1 SHOTS 81. He needs to be more clinical in front of goal and when it is impossible to score and another player is in a better position he hs got to learn to pass the bl.oody ball which he doesn't like doing!

Sell him..... he's short..... can't score goals...... can't do assists..... greedy in front of goal..... bites ears..... drop kicks bellies... racist and unapologetic about it..... we'd been doing well since he wasn't playing....the draw against tottenham was obviously he's fault.... ugly.... foreign.

That's what I've been getting from some supposed Liverpool fans over here. (I added the last 2)

Jesus H Christ.... the mind boggles at how much subtle influence the media and internet can exert over the masses.

I read the FA report - interesting read, very clearly written. They base a lot on their perceived credibility of the two players, repeatedly mentioning what a clear witness Evra was, they even mention how he can speak five languages - what the hell has that got to do with his credibility? I watched the you tube footage, especially the arm pinch, and read the player and staff statements, particularly Comolli and Kuyts. In all honesty I think he probably was dishing out some racist abuse at that time, so deserved a ban - it would have been four matches for the 'Because your black' comment. Where they put too much heed in Evras credibility, was for concluding the charges were proven for the other incidences, which could have been completely made up by Evra - that led to a further four match ban.

My opinion, but there you go.

I like how a Manure fan was done for racism last week. You probably haven't heard about it as it got like 3 lines of national press... thats fair right?!?!?!

I hope Suarez does just shake Evras hand though, show hes the bigger man, then score a few

I don't think there will be any problems at all, the media are just being the media, Suarez and Evra will shake hands tomorrow

At a guess this has already been smoothed over behind the scenes and as such tomorrows public handshake will be a formality. I do hope so as quite frankly its not up there with the best of moments for us and we have admitted as much since. A siege mentailty and backing players is one thing but PR is also a major factor in the modern game and I would assume this has been a lesson learned and furthermore Suarez warned on the discipline side. I know people dont want to hear it but we have to be big enough to admit when things dont go so well.

He will score the winner and we will have the last laugh on what is simply the most unjust decision in the history of English football.

Uneffinbelievable.

These aren't fans mate.

More like clueless idiots that don't follow the game and only look at the game report summary on Soccernet every now and then.

They form an "opinion" on the headlines put in front of their beady little eyes.
