Has our luck just changed? - It needs to...

Luck? Hmmm...depends what you think luck is really.

When we hit the post, it means we didn't hit the goal. That's not bad luck really is it?

When a player is in the box and his hands are up and the ball touches his hand, that's not luck. It means your hands touched the ball in the box which is more than likely going to bring a penalty decision. To say it's good luck that we got it is one thing. If we hadn't got the decision, we'd be saying "Oh man, bad luck strikes again..." So again, luck dosen't really play a part.

Like Han Solo, not sure I believe in luck. It feels like a word used to explain the things we can't explain.

That said...I hope we have a lucky second half to the season!  :buttrock

And Joe Hart wouldn't have played another blinder against us. If we were lucky we would have won at least 4-0 last night. So no our luck hasn't changed, the players' determination may have done. A kick up the backside was very much needed.

Exactly... ANd I still believe that was a pen... So I'm not really seeing the luck here.  We completely out played them.  They barely had any shots on goal and we had about 15, 5 or 6 which were amazing saves by Hart..

If anything we almost got unlucky again.

Lucky or not all quiet in work from the City fans ( they didn't want to win it anyway ) and Monday should be just as quiet after we put United out ( they don't want to win this one either ). This could of easily been the few days holiday I was thinking of taking but so far it is looking like a great time to be strutting round work laughing at the early excuses :D

for all the saves he made, Bellamy's goal looked a lot more basic than some of our other efforts. Maybe its just me. I'm not being critical of him, he put in a monster shift. Just saying
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

I thought it was beautiful that Danny Aggers goal actually skimmed the top of his head. If De Gea had an erection, he'd have saved that

yeah i couldn't stop laughing at that :D

he has very bad positioning and awareness for a keeper that was so highly rated when he was with Atleti.
