What book are you talking about? Sounds a good read... I looked on amazon and found one called "My Liverpool Home", but it said it was released November 2010, which is well before Torres even transferred.

Twitter book?

Greav already informed me I quoted the wrong post  :D

As funny as his demise has been, I feel a little sorry for him. He had it all and traded it for, well, nothing. It's all been his own doing I know but he's had a torrid time. My mate who supports Chelsea is on his back, I remember when we used to back him to the hilt everytime, injury, sh!t performance and his general demenour. We really were behind him all the way weren't we?

That's probably why it hurt so much, I thought his loyalty to us matched that which we showed him but nope, just a charade before he screwed us over to become Roman's little b!tch
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

No, he traded everything for an extra £100,000/week.

I've felt so many different emotions, but I must say I'm glad it isn't working out for him.  He betrayed us in an extremely unprofessional way.  If he would have asked to be traded much earlier, it would have been a little different.  I'd still feel betrayed, but I'd be more understanding.

I do feel him and chelsea both have gotten what they deserved.

I dont feel sorry for him either.  He had great support here at Liverpool and he bailed just when things were starting to look up for us.  Thankfully Suarez came in and has more than filled the void.

As for Torres, if he doesnt start performing soon he'll be watching Euro 2012 in the pub.

He could care less about this club, why should we care about him. Not only do I not feel sorry for him, I'm glad his struggling. I was gutted when he left but it's worked out great for us, he doesn't look like his worth 5 mil let alone 50. I hope he never lifts another trophy and to me any silverware we win will be just that little bit sweeter.

Del Bosque said some pretty blunt things about it like. All that was missing was 'he was better at Liverpool' :D

He could have florished under the guidance of KK playing alongside Luis with the backing of real fans...
