All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Torres is a mess right now.  He just got played in with only the keeper to beat against Chile.  Shot it well wide with his left foot.  K'in hilarious.

I'm not going to lie. When I got Kenny's book I was itching to hear his views on the whole transfer saga involving T**res and I'm pleased to say not a lot is said :D

He said he tried the arm around the shoulder approch to gee him up a bit but the fact is he didn't want to be helped and he wanted to leave. Had two or three meetings to try and persuade him to stay but he felt like he wasted his breath after each one. Said it became a bit acrimonious towards the end, Torres went to the staff to explain his decision to join Chelsea but Kenny just wanted to say 'Adios, Fernando, off you go'. Liverpool Football Club will always be bigger than one player and don't forget that

That's the jist anyway, nice to know he felt the same as us about it - sorry to harp on about the book but it's been nice to stay connected with LFC while sh!tty international matches are going on and I thought it would be nice for those who haven't read it to know Kenny's views on it :D

A lot of twitter talk going rounds that Torres is not settled in London and he is looking for a move to Spain. Rumors now that Malaga is interested.

What book are you talking about? Sounds a good read... I looked on amazon and found one called "My Liverpool Home", but it said it was released November 2010, which is well before Torres even transferred.
