Chuffed with him, such a joy to see his reaction when he scored. The only time he made a slight mistake was not releasing either suarez or kuyt in the second half but i'm nitpicking there. Chuffed for him. Looking forward to seeing him in the next game. By the way..I think Kenny has found his formation to accomodate everyone...a very fluid 4-5-1

:upside:  fck off !

Decent display and a goal very well taken... Still have plenty of doubts about him especially when it comes to his first touch and dribbling technique but his all round contribution today was way better than I anticipated and more like what I expected when we signed him...

Still not a wide player for me but with a goal and a couple of good passes he deserves praise for his shift today

Bad Bob wrote:I'll hold my hand up and say I've been rather underwhelmed with the lad prior to today.  But, he showed what Kenny saw in him today and may that long continue.  His goal was taken really, really well and he made some incisive passes and fantastic crosses.  He was also a bundle of energy today and big part of our fluid pass and move exhibition, interchanging with Kuyt, Suarez and Downing very nicely.  More of that, lad, and doubters like me will STFU. :D

I'm with you.

I've been wondering why he's continually started, but after a performance like that you can't really question the motives.

If he can consistently perform like that, we've got a great signing on our hands.

Adam had a really good game too, but I'm sure we'll see many Adam doubters avoid talking about him as well.

Jeez folks wanted to shoot him 2 pages back....

All credit to the lad, nothing quite like a goal in front of the home fans to build up your confidence.

Onwards and upwards.

I was one of the doubters - not that I doubted his talent, we've seen flashes of it in each game - but whether he was good enough to keep the likes of Meireles (as CM)/Kuyt (as a wide player) out of the team. And, I've been concerned that he doesn't consistently provide width, or enough protection for the RB when he is playing out wide.

Yesterday was a very good performance by the player, even before the goal. Personally I was very impressed, and I thought he was close to the best player on the pitch.

Quality game, two games in a row where he setup a lot of chances and managed to score one this time around.  Put it on a platter for Kuyt but Knight or whatever got a touch on it and Luis really really should have scored on that breakaway.  Tried to get too cheeky with the chip.

Great to see hendo scoring will do worlds of good for his confidence. I would like to see him take more risks with the ball in the opposition half, don't hesitate with the ball as much. Be adventurous with the passes if we are in front.

Jordan's played 4 games for us and the latest was clearly his best, hopefully there'll be continuing improvement and a bit of consistency. I ain't doubting the lad, he's got my backing

He did okay nothing spectacular.

Also he had a terrible knack of 'coming inside' too much at times. I saw even Lucas (rightly so) have a go at him as his passing options out wide weren't on, due to Henderson losing shape to the side.

His goal was well taken. Let's hope he continues to grow. :)

He scored a goal and almost set up another. So he didn't score a hatrick, oh well.
