Keep watchin this and other player 'spaces' they'll be a lot of 'humble pie' ate in these ere pages...  :nod

He has a lot more to do before he is officially accepted as a starting player. Charlie Adam I think is also in that same boat.

No offense Killer, but accepted by whom?  If it's by Kenny and Steve Clarke, that's good enough for me.  If it's by fans you are reffering to, well then PMSL, doesn't mean a thing than.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Kenny Kan wrote:He did okay nothing spectacular.

Also he had a terrible knack of 'coming inside' too much at times. I saw even Lucas (rightly so) have a go at him as his passing options out wide weren't on, due to Henderson losing shape to the side.

His goal was well taken. Let's hope he continues to grow. :)

The more he gets told about things like that, the more he'll mature. Hopefully he'll start to realise when he can come inside and when its best to stay out wide, experience will teach him that, and Lucas of course  :D

only thing is Kenny has ALREADY accepted Henderson and Charlie as starters... isn't that why they are playing?

agree or not?

I agree, he doesn't have the pace to beat a man but has a good first touch and can cross a ball - early days but I thought he did well at the weekend.

'Early days' indeed, we've wasted 187 pages talking about Aqualani who never actually played for us so just 22 pages on Henderson is still prematch warm up isnt it? What joys we can look forward too as the thread twists and turns with posters' moods and prejudices.....

His best game in a Liverpool shirt and a fantastic goal as well!

Some great teasing crosses and plenty of energy in midfield!

Still learning his trade but a very good performance on saturday! Great player to have in our squad!

I'm quietly optimistic about Henderson... He has good all round ability... He may just surprise some people...

Its amazing how scoring a goal can colour peoples judgement .I thought Henderson was much more composed on the ball against Arsenal ,and yet his contribution in that particular game went largely unnoticed . Henderson will be a top player ,he is simply adapting to Liverpool's style of play, and slowly but effectively easing himself into games .
