And please pick on Rafa a little bit more.
Kenny has been allowed to spend more in 6 months at the helm than Rafa could in 6 years!  :no

Kenny's quote:

"When he came back his pre-season training was excellent. We gave him a few games, he did well in those games. But the problem for us was trying to get him in the team. We couldn't get him in the team.

So he rates henderson and Adam higher. Pathetic is what I have to say about that.
How many games that Aqualiani played for us was he poor?
Maybe 5% of the games. Henderson has been poor 100 % of his games so far and Adam or should I say Mr Average has been ok in half and poor in half.  :no

Thats just Kenny showing the class he has and not talking sh.ite about the lad.  What kenny really means is the problem was trying to get him into the team when he clearly didnt want to be here.

Are you really calling Kenny, a Liverpool legend, pathetic?

Pure :censored:!

Try to pin this on the player is also pathetic since he said in a an interview he was looking forward to the new season in Liverpool.

Of course he is going to leave if management tells him
"We have signed superstars Adam and Henderson who are so much better than you..."
Yes, I am looking at you Comolli and Kenny!

Aqua Man represent more then anything the Failure of Benitz. The manager which gambled our season away over an injured player ,for me was the main reason to see him out of the club. I can't forgive Rafa for being so blind and sacrificing the whole season with this rackless gamble.

As to the lad himself ,from what he showed us he isn't cut for the fast intensive pace of English football. I wouldn't mind seeh him given another chance but it is clear he looked for a way out to his comfert zone which is Italian football.

Rafa sacrificed a whole season by buying Aqua? I thought there were a few reasons how naive of me to think it was all down to one single transfer

Both of these posts are absolute b0llocks, bar the last sentence

Was Aqua going to come back and say 'I want to leave'. No he wasn't. He doesn't want to be in England, why can't we just accept the facts and be done with it ffs  :no

Yes, I am looking at you Comolli and Kenny!

Benitez signed him in an injured state, that should be enough for most people.

you are very gullible if you think Aquilani really meant what he said, if he is so happy at Liverpool & willing to fight for a place why is he at Milan?

KK is a good manager & I trust his decision on this one, he would never accept anything less than 100% commitment to the club. Obviously he had no problems in letting him go on loan, although a sale would be better.

zzz. Did I say that?

But please don't make Kenny into some infallible humanbeing that can walk on water.
He is a legend both as a player and manager and most of his decisions have been beneficial for the club.
But yes, not seeing Aquilani's superior footballing ability ahead of those 2 which he bought I see as a grave error of judgement.
Unless factors other than footballing reasons played a big part...

like not wanting to play in England for example?

Ok, I'll phrase it differently, preffering Italy over England?

Or even better, having wife and kids based in your country of brith and wanting to be there with them?

Ok, ok, preferring Italian football, beng from Italy and having your wife and kids over there

yes, but I have not seen anyone say that, neither the player or the manager. On the contrary the player said he was looking forward to the season with Liverpool and the manager said there was no room for him in the team.

So I should take it everybody lies in football nowadays..?

I've added it into my post above but Kenny has said his wife and kids are there its difficult for him. That's been missed off in the quotes on the previous page btw

Here's the full quotes on the offal:

Dalglish told Liverpoolfc.tv: "It's a great move for Alberto. He's got his wife and kid over there. It was difficult for him here.

"When he came back his pre-season training was excellent. We gave him a few games, he did well in those games. But the problem for us was trying to get him in the team. We couldn't get him in the team.

"Obviously everybody wants to play and Alberto is moving over to a fantastic football club. He goes there with the best wishes of everyone and we hope it works out for him, because he was never a problem in any way, shape or form."

I'd say that's quite amicible if you ask me, all the best to him and we move on, don't know why we're squabbling over it - and nowhere does it say I prefer Adam and Henderson over you, even Raul for that matter. Would you rather Kenny came out crying, said we're fecked and bash the confidence of the players still here?? I'd rather he said what he's said

Henderson is 20 years old and has played in 3 games for us, after playing in the Euros for the 21s, hes a solid midfielder who is still young and not even settled in the club! Get a grip Penguin!

Adam is a better passer and link up midfielder than Aqualani, Adam can tackle, takes a better corner and free kick and in his 3 games for Liverpool has taken the ball off our defense and linked it with the strikers and midfielders more than Aqualani did in his entire wasted spell here! Cos he doesnt have a fancy name or wear bright yellow boots then hes not a superstar, you're clueless!!

Kenny is right, Aqualani not wanted or needed here!!

ICE MAN, it you who are clueless by saying Adam can tackle. He sucks at tackling, always on the back foot and his "tackling skills"
is an accident waiting to happen. He loses possession too much as he is slow and how many defense splitting passes has he made so far that has connected??

Ok, how many assists have Aqualiani got and how many have Adam got? Simple enough question just to show how ignorant you can be!

theres only one answer to that, Aqua has played a LOT more games than Adam.

Personally Adam wins everytime, he wanted to come here and it made it well known, Aqua didn't and has declared AC a big leap in his career.

I know which of the two I'd want at my club regardless of their abilities

That is a totally different ballgame.
If Aquilani doesn't want to be here then he can :censored: off.
I am talking about ability only.

He had 6 assists in 9 PL games for us. Adam won't be close to that.
