Someone reckons that as well as Coates and Bellamy we are still getting Dann.

I wouldn't put it past us, but it seems unlikely. Carra could be gone after this season, leaving us with two holes to fill at CB since Soto is gone. I'd think we would wait a season though, both Dann and Coates would want to play and if we signed both there just isn't enough games to go around for Carra, Skrtel, Agger, Coates and Dann.

The irony is if we gets Coates, Skrtel becomes our 4th rated centre back.

From what little I know of him and have seen, ie the Copa America, the lad looks a great prospect.

To be honest though, stuck in the Urugauyan league I think he's a bit of a bolt out of the dark for everyone isnt he?

If we cant keep a clean sheet on his debut I think he should be benched immediately.

Im clearly only kidding but it won't surprise me when someone comes out with such a statement for real.

Coates and Dann would be quality and will give us lots of options at the back.

If we secure Bellamy then we will have sufficient cover upfront as well. Now a case of shipping out Cole, Poulson and gettting Wilson and Shelvey out on loan. Great window so far!

We could do with keeping Shelvey TBH. With Aqua leaving and Gerrard/Meireles injured and Poulsen being Poulsen, we might need some more cover.

And we'll have the Carling/FA Cups for Shelvey.
