Around the 88th minute I think he got a kick and my eyes bulged. I seriously couldn't believe he was still on, a passenger. He couldn't control the ball, his touch was awful and his delivery was woeful. He nearly started crying when Carroll gave him a bollocking. With that said I'm off to the Andy Carroll thread to give out about that donkey. Slow as a funeral and a terrible attitude.

As an aside, is it me or does it look like he's going to fall forward every time he dribbles with the ball?

Kenny out?

haha  :D  (referring to SCS)

Not every singning turns out great. If they were the club, manager etc would be geniuses.

Downing: really good buy
Enrique: likewise excellent buy
Adam: not that great but we got what we paid for
Caroll: not that great and we overpaid. But he has a big body and if he lears to use it....
Henderson: Worth half of what we paid at most.
Nothing special at all.

Long as we get into the top 4 I will be happy.  Our summer has been brilliant, Coates looking like he will sign soon and on top of that I see us adding another ST.  I have no complaints, at all.

sometimes you pay over the odds for a player, sometimes you get a bargain.  Other times you sell a striker for 50 million that scores 1 goal in 20 matches and get a better player a less than half the price:D   Don't close the book on Henderson and don't judge him on his fee, he has his whole career ahead of him.  Patience......

I guess another talking point is who gerrard replaces when he returns: Henderson or Adam?

It's almost as if he's trying too hard at times to impress so far. Technically I think he's decent and his passing and movement are good. He's one of these players who will always do the simple things well and give the team a balance. However if we're looking for a player who'll do the spectacular then he's never going to be the answer.

I read all the stuff on here about Hendo in the match thead and went to relax, flicked on Five Live and the guy there said hendo was the standout man :D

Needless to say I'm keeping out of this one

Did he not lay the ball out to Suarez for the 2nd goal? Did he not turn beautifully and almost win us a pen? (granted, he did go down a little to easy). And of course it was his deep cross that laid on the 1st. Give it a rest lad  :eyebrow

I watched the match again, kept an eye on Henderson.  Yeah he had a few shocking moments, but he had more moments that were impressive.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Hopefully he'll do that in cup games and in the reserve team where he belongs. Never gonna happen but I can hope...
