Its very unlikely we will be signing Cahill, Phil Mcnulty and Ben Smith already said there is no chance of him going to us and another source is saying that there other targets we are pursuing and Cahill is NOT the first choice target

My great aunt says Bolton has already accepted our offer only personal terms left. But my grandmother says the two clubs are still 2 million apart in the valuation...

El Zhar released :)

Liverpool Football Club this evening confirmed they have reached agreement to release Nabil El Zhar from his Anfield contract.

The player is now expected to join Spanish side Levante, who have announced on their website they expect to finalise a two-year deal in the coming days.

Think it will be a bad move for us to not being in another defender before the close of the window. No point waiting till Jan. We could be out of the run in for 4th by then.

We need 2 centre backs let alone 1. The 3 we have arent good enough unfortunately. Weak link and it will be exposed.

we don't need to buy any more players. just get rid of the deadwood. we can buy new players next season after we qualify for the ECL. at least then, we will be more attractive to the continental stars.

We won't qualify for CL without a new top CB

I would feel better about things if we signed another CB, but it's not an automatic place in the league either way.  Right now, 4th is very attainable with the squad we have.  If Agger stays healthy, it is much more certain.
