LOL so he had a good game...........  for 23 minutes  :p

just want to make it clear regarding Aquilani, I think the timing of the signing was a mistake and maybe IF we bought him fit we would have seen a different Aquilani.

I still think we should sell him because he doesn't want to be here and use the funds to buy other players

I think Aquilani shines in an attacking role with good movement around him, as a deep lying CM I think he lacks a lot of what is ideal to be played back there.  That's why I feel he was on and off for Juve, they played him pretty deep when I watched him but when he was here Rafa played him higher up like he plays for Italy at times and we saw what he was capable of.  Not really too bothered whether he stays or goes though, just posting some thoughts on him.  He was still really good at times for Juve but they didn't utilize him well enough, at least when I watched him play.

Indeed, my thoughts too, I was just posting reports from Italy of an LFC player and thought this was the thread for it.  In terms of if he goes or stays I'll trust Kenny to make the right decision.

He was ok at Juventus, but that's down to how cr@p Juve were because they did end up 7th place. I still believe he doesn't have the mentality to take the midfield on his own like Modric or Scholes. However, he is a good playmaker and I think he thrives playing with a Mascherano type of player

I dont think he's suited to us but if Juve dont stump up the agreed fee then they can do one

Juve are being ridiculous...

They are in for Rossi, in for Aguero, spent a bunch in January and are linked with as many players as we are because they have the money.

And they are telling us they don't have the money.  They are just being flat out disrespectful.  We just need to pull Aqua back right now, say he's available of others want to sign him because there were a few clubs interested in signing him that would give us at least 12 I'm sure, not the 6 Juve are offering.

It only means one thing, that Juventus don't really rate him

they rate him as a 6 million pound player...which says it all really.

May be Milan or someone will take him...but one thing is for sure, we're not getting out 20 million back  :(

But Franco Zavaglia, the former Roma midfielder's agent, has categorically denied that Milan have made any approach for his client.

"I can say that I am not aware of any interest from AC Milan,'' Zavaglia told Gazzetta dello Sport. "They are just rumours and we have had no contact with Milan.

"Juve have asked us for a few days to reflect and in the meantime, we are looking at the options in Italy and abroad.

"I don't think the problem has to do with the buy-out clause but rather that they (Juventus) are looking for someone whose characteristics are more defensive. We will see what happens.

"Whatever happens, Alberto is not left in the middle of the road as he still has three years left of his contract with Liverpool.''

They have changed their tune. Looking more likely he'll be back at Anfield.
