Not trying to defend him or anything but Ateltico is his home town club so whilst people thing his comments are hypocritical, if anything they just show that he never really ever held Liverpool FC as close to his heart as he made out. Anyway, the guy has made his bench, so now he has to sit on it. :D

I thought this as well at first, but then you have to listen to what he said.

He didn't say you're betraying your home club, because that's not where Aguero's from and he hasn't played there his whole life. He said you will be betraying the loyal fans.  Well we were dam loyal to him and he went to a rival, so feck him.

He was talking about how the fans would be affected, and that's exactly what happened when he left for chelski

Exactly! Aguero isnt leaving his home club, he's simply leaving a club where he had huge success and whos fans idolized him. If that's betrayal for Torres, than he, according to himself is a focking traitorous :censored: who never really cared for Liverpool or its fans.

And Aguero announced it at the beginning of the summer transfer window, before it really even opened.  Not 3 days before the january window closed

Fun little fact.  Maxi Rodriguez and Torres scored the same amount of goals in the prem in the 2010-2011 season.

Chelsea striker Fernando Torres is determined to erase his season of misery from his memory and make a fresh start in August.

The Spain international made a shock £50million switch to Stamford Bridge from Liverpool in January but flopped badly at the start of his career in West London.

Torres could only manage a solitary goal for the Blues and struggled to strike up any kind of understanding with fellow forward Didier Drogba, amid suggestions of tension between the duo.

Even his opening months of the season with Liverpool were well below his prolific best, with the rigours of the World Cup taking their toll.

"For me the past season was the worst since I arrived in England," Torres admitted.

"The injury I sustained at the end the World Cup damaged my performance and made things more complicated than at any time in my career.

"Twelve goals in all in a season is nothing for me. Never during the season did I play to 100 per cent, neither for Liverpool or Chelsea.

"So I prefer to forget what happened. But I am not sorry I signed for Chelsea. I am convinced that when the Chelsea machine is at its full rhythm we will be very difficult to beat."

And Torres remains confident that with the benefit of a full pre-season alongside Drogba, the Blues will have a strike-force to be reckoned with in the coming campaign.

He added: "I do not have problems with Drogba. Sincerely, I am very connected with Didier. He is a sensational footballer and our possible rivalry is positive for Chelsea.

"I see many goals coming and that will give us significant success. Manchester United are the champions but I insist that we are the main candidates to take their title.

"The only thing I desire now are victories with Chelsea."

Go f.uck yourself Fernando
