Can't stand Cahill mate, I wanna slap him everytime I see him. I also hope the corner flag takes his eye out everytime he celebrates :D

Baines is a red matey! He's one of us at heart, I'm sure he'll have no problem crossing the divide :D

he was a red MH, started at our youth school and grew up a red. We've had loads of schoolboy Everton fans down the years, this is just the opposite that's all

serious rebuild needed over the next few years, not all at the one time but progressively over several windows.
how we are where we are has been testament to kk and proves he should get the job.we have too many overpaid useless players on the books and coupled with the constant injuries make our squad paperthin and seriously lacking quality.
us this season
                                                           jones
                                                           reina
kelly                                carra                           agger                     johnson
flanagan                        kyrgiakos                      skyrtel                     aurelio
                                    wilson                                                      robinson
                                                                                                  konchesky
                                                       lucas
                                                    poulsen
                                                     spearing
            kuyt                                                                       cole
            maxi                                                                    jovanovich
                                                    suarez
                                                   carroll
                                                    ngog
thats pretty much what we were looking at this year, players pulled out of position to fill holes due to the lack of quality in most positions.the constant injuries to aurelio and agger cost us again, cole, jovanovich, maxi and poulsen have no impact whatsoever on us.we have a few players pushing the other side of 30 and are starting to slow so we need quality players in that can just slot right in.
next season id like to see something like,
                                                         jones
                                                         reina
        kelly                            carra                    skyrtel             izaguirre
    johnson                         agger                       cahill              insua

                                                       lucas
                                                       adam
                shelvey                                                          young
                jarvis                                                            downing
                                                    gerrard
                                                   merieles

                                       suarez                  carroll
                                       kuyt
not unrealistic by any means, only 6 players but its important we sign at least that amount to see any sort of impact.we still have fringe players their to strenghten the numbers so hopefully we will offload a lot of deadwood this summer and use the cash with a top up from fsg we could easily achieve 6 players.
cant wait for the summer to begin and the wheelin and dealin starts!!

Its getting that time of year  :D

Baines is a magnificant fullback, but hes a bluenose since he was a kid so I cant see that move happening somehow  :(

Adam seems to have been found out recently, the opposition are man marking him and subsequently Blackpool are getting tanked left and right. The plus is at Liverpool their are alot of players that need to be watched carefully so he may get a little more freedom to pass the ball around the way he can.

Cahill Id take though Id love to know where he was against Stoke on Sunday?

Need someome with great delivery from wide and since we aint getting Valencia from Utd Ashley Young would be a great addition. Superb crosser of a football and big Carroll would thrive with his service.

I thought the same thing about Adam.  People realize the player he is, so they have put extra pressure on him.  When you have a team with one player, it's somewhat easy to stop.  If he came an played for us tho, there would be a whole bunch of players that the opposition would have to keep their eye on, so Adam would gain a lot of freedom.

Have to disagree with you on Valencia tho... Anybody can look good playing for manure.

Young has played really well this year I think.  Aston Villa are doing absolutely garbage, yet Young has managed 6 goals and 9 assists.  Imagine if Villa had a striker who could actually score in the first half of the season.  Before Bent arrived, their top striker had 2 goals I believe in the first half of the season.

As I see it, if we signed Cahill, any LB really, would love Baines because of the offense he provides, but expect somebody more like Enrique Our defense would be very solid.

Strikers we are fine, midfield we sign Adam to either take over for Meireles or fill in, Ashley Young and Matt Jarvis and we would be a very good team next year.

Cahill- 18
Enrique- 10
Adam- His contract is up in the summer if I'm correct?
Young- 18
Jarvis- 10

That's 56 million pounds for everybody we need, about the price we paid for Carroll and Suarez.  Plus we will be selling a decent amount of players and I expect to recoup between 20 and 30 million pounds.  So we could be looking at spending about 30 million pounds this summer and having a very strong squad.

Skrtel isn't good enough, Robinson too young, Gerrard far from finished, Johnson has been one of our best players since Kenny took over.

Agree with all of that.  Johnson and Kenny have been revelations since KK took over.

I'd say Meireles as well, but he hasn't been great since he scored his last goal.
