who's Payet?

personally, I dont think its right to thrust Robinson straight into the first team just yet.

Agger's always injured so I'd try Kelly at centre back. Not convinced that's Meireles' best position either and I don't think Dirk's the answer to our winger situation

So you expect us to sign 20 million pounds in players?  Haha I think we'll make more than that selling our old players we are trying to get rid of.

Dimitri Payet is a French Winger for St. Et.  He's actually scored 8 goals in 19 league games this season, but he doesn't get many assists.  Throughout his career he really hasn't gotten many assists and that's not the type of player we necessarily need to support Carroll and Suarez.

Payet is a French left winger. Okay, but not amazing.

I don’t think we’ll sign players for all four of the positions below but they are the areas we need to strengthen

                   Reina

Johnson   CB  Kelly/Cara/Agger   LB

                      MF
           Gerrard      Meireles

     RFW                          Suarez
                    Carroll

Then try and recruit the following realistic targets to improve our first 11:

New CB: Cahill / ?
New LB: Enrique / Taiwo  / Izaguirre
New MF: M’Vila / Defour / McCarthy
New RFW: Hazzard / Turan / Young

I know Dirk isn't the best but I couldn't think of anybody that we've been linked with that a right winger.Oh wait,Young was linked but I don't think he will come.

Its hard to say what the new team should/could look like.  Its hard to even predict what type of players we should sign because we have no real idea how Kenny wants us play.  Since he took over we have used so many different formations etc.

Its clear that Agger and Aurelio are quality players but are both made of glass.  So we really need a new CB and a LB.  Skrtel and the Greek just aint good enough for me.  While i was delighted with Robinson the other day, i dont think people appreciate how much Aurelio offers to the team with his experience and going forward, set play etc.

We also need more options in CM.  Spearing, lucas and Poulsen all do a similar job but we need more creativity.  Gerrard is struggling with injury as well so could do with a good creative mid.

We need another striker thats young and hungry and doesnt mind warming the bench :D
and we need WINGERS as always.

Big summer ahead.

Greenred, If this is what our lineup was going to look like, I'd be worried.  Not to mention one of those players wouldn't be there and that's Pepe Reina. If these are the players we bought, he would feel lied to once again and he'd be gone.

Robinson is too young, Johnson isn't in the starting lineup and he should be, and I don't think Kuyt or Payet will be good enough for us next year.  You aren't changing our shaky defense at all there and we need a new solid CB and an actual LB.

Arteta would be a great shout, but he's always injured as well isn't he? I'd love him in a Liverpool shirt

It's going to be a really interesting summer

Redman in Wales has pretty much identified the four areas I'd look at in the summer, those four would significantly boost our first 11 while offering some depth as well. Good times ahead

brendt4 - are you saying sell Johnson?

I'd bring in Baines, Cahill, Adam, McCarthy and Turan. Dunno how much they'd cost collectively like :D

Maybe have a look at Hangeland? I quite like the idea of Arteta now

its turning into FM, love it!

Its getting that time of year  :D

Baines is a magnificant fullback, but hes a bluenose since he was a kid so I cant see that move happening somehow  :(

Adam seems to have been found out recently, the opposition are man marking him and subsequently Blackpool are getting tanked left and right. The plus is at Liverpool their are alot of players that need to be watched carefully so he may get a little more freedom to pass the ball around the way he can.

Cahill Id take though Id love to know where he was against Stoke on Sunday?

Need someome with great delivery from wide and since we aint getting Valencia from Utd Ashley Young would be a great addition. Superb crosser of a football and big Carroll would thrive with his service.
