Watching Whiteout, very predictable thriller set in the South Pole but having Kate Beckinsale stripping down in first few minutes was master stroke in keeping me a fan of predictable thrillers

I'm sorry but for me it was terrible, I was bored for most of it and it was just a hyped up load of cr.ap

3/10

Saw it only recently myself and I'm with you dundalk, overhyped rubbish. umoriginal story line, wooden acting and best part of 3 hours of my life that I wont get back.

only good thing was the visuals which were stunning and probably excellent in 3-D but not enough to make up for the rest of this shabite!

without the 3D, Avatar is just another ordinary movie.

with the 3D is pretty awesome

Awesome film. Loved it... and you are spot on with the hair and undies!!!

you should watch nick and norah... another great film, a throwback to those all nighters

certainly worth a pause to savour the moment  :D

I'll check out Nick and Norah, cheers for the recommendation

Looks alright that, that Statham is great at playing nutters. After watching that Crank I have to say if they ever make a Grand Theft Auto movie (based on the game), he would be nailed on to play the main character!

:D   :nod

Watched "The Next Three Days" last night. The latest from Russel Crowe, much better than some of his other recent offerings.

Straight forward story line i:e man plans to get his wife (sentenced to life) out of prison and flee the country.

A slow start but the last third of the movie had me on the edge of my seat as the chances of him getting away with it swung backwards and forwards.

Next three days-trailer

I haven't seen so many good movies lately as well, maybe Inception and Due Date were the best.

Watched Batman : Dark Knight again yesterday, what a fantastic film, can't wait for the 3rd one now

I didn't watch the King's Speech yet, Colin Firth won the best actor award... looks like a terrific movie though, I'll get the DVD.

good day for the Brits in the Academy Award.

If anyone is mulling over whether to watch The Hereafter ,then I suggest you try pulling  all your pubes out individually ,because it would be considerably less painful .....   :(

Watched that Hancock the other night on Fiver. Thought it was pretty good, can't see why so many slated it.
