Nan, i go to matches too and ive never once heard anyone dish out the abuse that you and ciggy do to the manager. Sure, no one's happy about our current position, but the team takes the blame too. Torres is playing like a pub team striker at the moment and we would have beaten spurs and newcastle if he had taken his chances. you seem to ignore that fact.

You mighten hear it at the match i have never abused any manager at the match ,ever , but fecking hell come on you go the pubs before an after the games you hear the supporters , you read other forums . Thinga are said on Forums and in pubs after the game that are never said in the ground, we always have to be seen to get behind the team an even id go as far as Roy, but you know yourself the feeling of the fans , surely , DO YOU KNOW WHAT ive looked at quite a few id say most of the Liverpool forums today just havin a nosy , just to see if its just me ,am i in the minority who feels like this, and let me tell you . im not , its this forum and the fans who post on here that stand out by a country mile in there get behind Roy, So every other person is wrong and everyone on here is right,
I come on here wether we win or lose , i dont hide so for anyone to say anything else is talking rubbish,
We know Torres is not playing well and noone is ignoring the fact , same as i never ignored the fact that he was out with injury problems a hell of a lot last season,
And Daws im sorry but ive been going and supporting us for to long to accept we are just an average side , I fought with every bone in my body to rid people who were trying to destroy us as a club, why should i keep my mouth shut and just go along with the love in on here of a man who i think will destroy us on the football pitch , he has to go now before we get any worse , because if he doest it is gonna take a long long time to rcover, get rid now while we can still gain some self respect on the pitch

I always go to the Albert after amatch and i've NEVER heard anyone make owl jokes or reduce themselves to petty insults towards the manager.

No one's happy about our situation and no one is pretending that Roy was their 1st choice for manager either, but the glaring fact you seem to ignore is Roy took the manager's job when no one else credible wanted it. most match going fans accepted Rafa's time was up, and if you go to the games you'll know this too.

But you suggest we sack Roy now...andyou dont say who we replace him with. Please, let us in on the secret.

So what Kenny was not a credible candidate for the job? He made it known he wanted it too.

and then what happens when Kenny fails to turn it around. Do we hound him out too or carry on pretending it's 1989 again.

I can take losing under him knowing it would only be a short term thing. I can't take it under Roy. The things he says in his press conferences. Does it not at all baffle you sometimes the way he conducts himself when talking to the press. I suppose being in that area it must be like a field day, which must be why everyone likes him.  :D

yeah, Roy says the wrong stuff and if i was a sports hack (which i'm not, I write about other stuff) then i would LOVE to attend Roy's press events.

However, i don't think 'short term solutions' are the way forward. It would unsettle the squad and cause more problems, because no one would know what's going on. Stick with Roy or show me someone who'll come here for 5 years and win us the league. that's the choice.

Your right we need a long term solution. But does that mean even if we go on a 10 game losing streak you still wouldn't put him out of his misery? There has to be a line at which he gets sacked and if he already isn't passed that line he must be nearing the edge.

thing is Bav, believe it or not, Roy is trying to re-build our squad and if he was anyone else he would probably be given the time and space to do it. However, because he's English, and because he's not a big name, he's getting hammered on every poor result. If we sack him then we need a plan to push through to progress the club. Putting Kenny in charge, and putting the club in limbo would be a disasterl in my view.

Rebuild with poulsen and konshitsky? Is he getting :censored: because he is english? Really? Talk about clutching at straws, as its usually the other way around. Foreign managers and players have to be twice as good to be compared to their english counterparts.

didnt he sign Mereiles? I think his track record is probably ok consindering he had no time and rushed around. Lwets see what he can do in January. Plus, we kept Stevie and Torres, thats like 2 masswive signings

We've too many sub-standard players, too many who we kid ourselves to be quite good but who - by Liverpool standards - are actually very poor, and until that's recognised and acted upon by the club hierarchy we'll continue to wonder why we aren't competing with the likes of Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal etc.
