It wasn't just agent fees. It was also fees paid on behalf of players to agents. Seeing as though Cole, Milan were freebies. This proves it isn't the case. There isnt such a thing. It's just money going out of the game. Quite depressing really

Lets wait to see who he brings in and hwo he performs before we pass judgement, I have faith in the owners. Just becuase an ex-employer doesn't like him doesn't automatically mean he is rubbish, it takes 2 to tango and all that jazz.  :D

It's so ironic.

So many local Liverpool supporters shun the national side yet it is the success of the national sides World Cup bid that could determine whether we get a new stadium or redevelopment Anfield.

If England win the bid, the new stadia will get partial funding from the FA to support the pledges of new stadia made in the World cup bid, meaning that NESV's outlay is a lot less and makes a new stadium (instead of redevelopment) a very attractive proposition.

Choosing Qatar and Russia is the biggest indictment possible that FIFA is not a clean organization. Petrodollars talk.

OliverKayTimes:    Only Fifa could class Qatar as the biggest risk of all the bidders and then vote for it. Joke of an organisation

H+G had to get some money out of the clubsomehow so it wouldn't surprise me if they were getting a cut of these fees. (sorry to mention their names again)

How about a little respect for other people's bids?
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

Russia is a good choice and dont beleive all the hype and propoganda churned out by our media and newspapers. They have never hosted a world cup and winning will give them a huge boost which some of their cities outside of Moscow and St Petersburg will benefit from massively. For that country its a bigger deal than it would have been here and Arshavin was terrific on the stand today, a far cry from a staged Beckham performance. I am not doubting there is some skullduggery behind the scenes but lets be honest everyones at it us included but we lost out. I for one will look forward to watching the world cup there and seeing how it transforms the country, it will be terrific and furthemore the women there are fekin awesome :)
