I've called people retards on here, and i could name (but wont) about 20 others who have specifically name called others.. but don't mess with the sub, fair enough i guess

anyways, Maureen, does anyone really like him? You can respect him, but do you really like him?

I think retard is an appalling thing to call someone and I would hope that members on this forum would think twice before using such language.

As for Mo......who cares !

So is all name calling banned or only name calling against the moderators, just so that we are all clear. Personally I think all name calling should be banned as it shows a lack of respect, there certainly should not be one rule for the moderators and another for everyone else and I hope that isn't the case here.

It's not always I agree with Sub, but name calling mods is different to name calling me for instance. For one thing I'm used to it  :D but for another unless people have a modicum of respect for those who take time to sort the forum out, it would completely fall apart.

Christ Daws you've racked some yellow cards lately, been misbehaving? :D
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Since i did the same at the Benitez thread, its only fair that i put up the Mourinho stats as well..

Tue. 28 FT AJ Auxerre         0 - 1 Real Madrid
Sun. 3 FT Real Madrid 6 - 1 Deportivo La Coruña
Sat. 16 FT Málaga        1 - 4 Real Madrid
Tue. 19 FT Real Madrid 2 - 0 AC Milan
Sat. 23 FT Real Madrid 6 - 1 Racing Santander
Tue. 26 FT Murcia        0 - 0 Real Madrid
Sat. 30 FT Hercules          1 - 3 Real Madrid
Wed. 3 FT AC Milan         2 - 2 Real Madrid
Sun. 7 FT Real Madrid 2 - 0 Atlético Madrid
Wed. 10 FT Real Madrid 5 - 1 Murcia

The biggest difference between the Real Madrid of the this season and that of last is the sense of expectation around the club... Tactically they're very well set up and their game against Barcelona at the end of the month will be a big test for Mourinho.. Realistically the title is between the two sides and its hard to see either dropping many points in the league this season...

even though the quality of our league is on the decline, at least it's competitive. in spain these two are so far ahead of everyone else it's embarassing. real madrid got 96 points last season and still came 2nd which is unheard of.

i still fancy barca to win it because i see real's priority being the CL. that's what maureen was brought in to deliver and they've got a great chance. infact if they avoid each other along the way, get your money on a barca-real CL final. nobody in this country or italy can touch them imo.

Gotta agree... With Inter and ManUtd on the decline and Bayern struggling to replicate their form of last season, a full-strength Chelsea are probably the only side capable of standing up to the Spanish duo...

I think Madrid have better squad depth than Barcelona and are tactically better... Barcelona probably have more firepower to turn the smaller clubs in the league and as such i gotta agree that Barcelona should be considered favorites for the league title with Real favorites in Europe... Going to be very close though and if Madrid manage to beat Barcelona at the NouCamp the title should be theirs for the taking..

Shame once again the result is shrouded in controversy and bad sportsmanship

Them red cards and communication on the touchlines should be heavily investigated.  If Jose is found guilty, he should be banned from managing for a few seasons for effectively match fixing.  Either that or Real should be chucked out of Europe.
