Exactly, thats the whole point, they were there to witness it. It aint like a baseball crowd or atmosphere.

No offence mate but that is nothing compared to a football atmosphere, and in football it goes on throughout the match not just at the end. The close proximity of the fans to the field is probably the difference. You can feel the noise on your chest.
No offense here either my friend.
But I can tell you that American sports have a great deal of passion too. Human beings who follow football are built no differently than those who follow NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, etc. They have the same lungs and the same vocal chords. They can only scream and yell so loud based on their physical limitations. To say that lifelong baseball supporters don't show immense passion is incorrect. A fan of the Red Sox since the 1940s like my father has lived and died through their heartbreak and triumphs, listening or watching every single game they've played, reading about them every day in the papers, debating about them with his friends and family. How can you possibly suggest that that passion is inferior to an LFC supporter's? The nature of the game (length, stops and starts, etc) affects the perception. Heck, in the US many of us are very passionate supporters of two or even three teams in different sports. Yes that same person can act cerebral at a baseball game due to the game's pace, but he also acts like a raving animal at an NFL game.
So my point is, Henry knew what sports passion is, trust me, long before he ever reached Liverpool.

about there national team . Oh they might take an interest in england or whoever , but it will be LFC that's in there hearts and on there minds . It's a cultural thing i think ,that's all .I'm not saying LFC are better or worse than redsoxfans ,it's just the support is shown in a different way . Anyway i think it would be a good idea to have some sort of supporter exchange and it would certainly help clear the debate up .

so forgive me if I am slightly on my guard
