Attacking philosophy, good tactician and all, BUT, I don't think he is the answer, as some on here stated he might be the next Jaunde Ramos of Tottenham (and we really don't want that!!!)

Of course i cant prove it.

That's why i put IMHO  ???

But realistically that is more likely than yours about players being sold etc.

Why is it ? Like i said and still people wont answer - If he was sacked because of results why didnt it happen as soon as last season finished ?

who are these players that he left his role over the imminent sales of ?
Mascherano is the only top player and it was his decision to leave not the owners.
The simple answer is i dont know why he wasnt dismissed as soon as the season ended.
Maybe people went on holidays ?
maybe the owners were trying to find an alternative before they got rid ?

Michael Laudrup is a good shout for me, thought hes only just started at Almeria so probably has a sizeable contract to be bought out. Cant see Loew leaving the German job. Im still open to an up and coming British coach, Im talking about a man in his early 40s doing well at a midtable club, not another man that it took 35 years to be decent at a mid level club! Saying that they appear to be few and far between, Owen Coyle has been doing well at Bolton and has to a degree got them playing decent football and Ian Holloway at Blackpool is as mad as pink toast but has been performing miracles with his lot. After those two the style of footbal by the likes of Bruce, Pulis, Allardyce etc leaves alot to be desired however, and I dont think a Championship level coach could really be expected to step up in this day and age.

My husband has just been telling me Rikaard could be available sooner than we think. Its not going to well for him at the moment at Galatersary, fans really unhappy with him. slated him yesterday in the ground, and the board wont put up with him much longer, Gonna have a little sneaky bet on him to be our next manager and take the odds before he leaves there ,

You will have to explain why

we just fired the guy and paid him millions to go away, we must move forward not back through misty sentimental eyes.

Actually we didnt fire him

And we have move backwards since he left

he was fired , that mutual consent stuff is just to save face. Why did he leave then? we finished 7th and the owners decided that wasn't good enough and wanted him gone. They even paid him to go away.

There are several interesting names going around. DiMatteo is a prospect but unproven, Sven would come here, Leow would be great too.

Lets move forward before some want Houllier or Evans (who always finished in the top 4) back.

He wasnt fired - and he didnt leave because we finished 7th - if that was the case he would of left as soon as the season finished . He was actually planning for the upcoming season - sorting out deals for Shevly and Wilson - sorting out the pre season friendlies etc until he found out the planned budget and thats when things went south .

Have we gone forwards since he left ?
you didnt answer his question Benny.

why did he leave if none of the above ?
Well IMO - because it hasnt actually been said from either party - it think its because he realised the owners were not going to invest any money into transfers unless players were sold and i believe he couldnt work with the owners anymore .

If he went because we finished 7th then why didnt he go as soon as season finished .
If it was his decision to leave then why would he have been entitled to a pay off?

So we have to hide behind Johnnie Foreigner again do we?

Appoint Kenny as Director of Football and di Matteo as the coach.
