Appoint Kenny as Director of Football and di Matteo as the coach.

Agree with that mate, I was saying this too (apart from Di Matteo), get Kenny as the director of football in charge of signings and scouting network!!

that's what happens when you buy centre forwards like kuyt and babbel and tell them to be wingers.

surely, we should have spent all that money on wingers when shopping for............wingers!

Does Rafael Benitez owe you money or something? Some people on here didnt want him and thought his time was up which is fair enough, but you however seem to openly hate the man and take shots at him at every opportunity, even when the subject matter has nowt to do with him. Its getting really irksome, any chance of knocking it off?

i dont think he would be a bad option though.
he sets his teams up well, likes to pass and likes to attack.he is also a respected manager with a decent playing career behind him and should have no problems attracting talent to sign for us.

id like to see the new owners install kenny in the seat till may and they can bide their time in sussing out the right man for the job whomever that turns out to be.

I can't remember Kuyt or Babbel taking any corners or free kicks........and they pretty dire most times, especially the corners...whoever keeps taking them should be told to pack it in and take a position around the edge of the box instead.

Nial get some specs so you can identify the players

'Does Rafael Benitez owe you money or something?' A great answer that, well done!

However BN is right for once.  :buttrock

Rafas come and gone, Woy on his way out. Point: we only have one more crack of the whip!

We need to get THE right manager and start getting players into the right positions. Dirky is not a winger, he's a forward and should be at Villa. Babel is not the anwser, he wants to be a rapper. EggNog is a lovely lad and should be at Wolves etc..

If we get another manager who cant cope or starts wasting money then gód help us all, it will take 10 years to recover instead of 3.

Honestly lads, the next 12 months+ are CRITICAL and we cant make any mistakes.

Edit SS: SG takes many of the corners and he is cr@p, however Dirky still has to cross in from the wing....

I know ; it was tongue in cheek because he is the worst corner taker we have had since Stig, but he refuses to hand over the responsibility to someone else....why ?

We do need at least one quality out and out winger, Id love to sign that Chilean kid Sanchez who had a storming World Cup but Udinese want stupid money for him, though they have had a shocking start to the season so maybe come Jan he'll be getting itchy feet and demand a move. Someone on here shouted for Abrahim Afellay who is a talented and very skillful player (very like Joe Cole)  but Ive watched him play a good few times for PSV and hes always played through the middle so I dont think Id class him as a wide player. Holland had a young kid come on a sub quite a bit during the WC on the left wing and he was electric but I cant remember his name, anyone remember him?

If Rijkaard is to be manager then he needs Ten Cate with him - that is who the was the footballing brains behind Rijkaard . Once Ten Cate left Barce it then went downhill for him at Barce .

because starscream, he is very gung ho, usually forgets what defence is all about. Plus he had a brilliant team set up for him with Barcelona, so it made things easier for him.
