The general jist that we are a two man team and always were. The c*nts don't know what to be saying. One minute it all comes from Alonso wanting out and how we've been sh*t since, now Torres is tripe and needs to sort his attitude out for us to start winning?

Nobody is "scapegoating" Torres, it's simply a statement of fact to say he is playing fecking terrible. I'm sure if you asked HIM he'd tell you the same, he isn't runnign the channels, isn't showing short, and seems to have lost his fizz altogether.

That doesn't mean the manager has fecked up any less, it just happens to be true.

(Gerrard apart) that r "playing" behind him. We need top quality wingers simples. Turan, Krasic, Young and Afellay 2 name afew that will get 2 the by line and free up Torres in the middle. We need pace at the back so we can push an extra 10 15 yards up the pitch as a team. We have the owners now who will back us in the transfer market. Theres no excuses 4 getting it wrong.

Showing short?
By which you mean having to come and collect. Right. So a world class forward like Torres who should be around or in the box should have to leg it to the half way line to show for the ball, then turn, beat a few midfielders that he would inevitably attract with him, run about 30 yards, beat the back line, then score? Hmm! Torres is playing with his back to the goal these days with no support of him within 40 yards. Add on top of that that he is injured and chasing down hoofed balls, then it's no surprise that the fella is off form and p*ssed off.
. And you sometimes wonder out loud whether other people have played football before

His wrongly disallowed goal at Sunderland was magnificent skill and finishing, not to mention he set up Kuyt 2 mins later and Gerrard again later. He scored a very good goal against West Brom earlier this year. Even with no service in the Derby...he still had that little header.
The problem and the reason why Torres is passing back, is because he is receiving the ball with his back to goal. (and the Midfield miles away).
In one match, the stats showed that Torres only received 7 passes during the whole game!
The team is not very creative at all and sits far too deep. We sold 2 of our players that can pick out a beautiful pass. (aqua and Yossi).
Create chances for Torres and he will score goals for fun. We haven't done that. And i don't blame the lad if he is devastated by the tactics and progression under Roy.
