My heart says Dalglish and my head says O'Neill. If it came to that.

sorry but in my view that is killing the game, the lack if young british kids is down to the likes of Rafa.

a local kids was spoted a few weeks ago at a school near me, dagenham and redbridge spoted him, the kids dad turned and said to the guy " no sorry we are holding out for a big prem team, he going to see two in a few weeks" the guy from D&G said " you will never get looked at as he is english"

sory but thats wrong.

Not atall when you get a manager from a certain country they do tend to bring players in from said country, Houllier French, Rafa spanish, it is something that they do.

Cant believe Roy turned Van Der Vaart down

Don't worry he (van der vaart) would have been make to look gash playing under this system anyway.

Now we have paid our debts and money worries reased we can surely go out and select from a better list of managers. With due respect Thommo and Dagger should only take over as stop gap. Lads like Deschamps knocked us back when Rafa left because they wouldnt touch the job with a barge pole under the circumstances but they may do now with the picture changing.

I didn't watch the derby because I didn't want to see LFC humbled to their knees like the son of a boxer who refuses to watch his beloved dad fight because he knew his dad would be knocked down with a bloody nose and face and put to public shame.

A silly question to all my liverpool fans (or maybe not so silly). Do you think we'll be relegated come May 2011?

I think previously that would have been true. Quite a few would probably still raise an eyebrow but J.Lowe recently talked about him and credited much of Germany's performances in the last few years down to him. If anything he seems like a motivator. Wouldn't mind Lowe himself but he is probably a long shot, couldn't see him wanting to ditch a very promising Germany side.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Hiddink, Hiddink, Hiddink...that's all I'm seeing today and, fair enough, he's proven to be a top manager.  But, realistically, is he likely to come in in October?  Is he even available?

Look, it's clear to me that if we are planning to pull the trigger on Roy sometime in the next fortnight or so (and presuming we're not going to go the Kenny as caretaker route) then we're going to go after the one or two decent and proven managers out there that are currently out of work.  The most obvious one would be, of course, Martin O'Neill.  So, instead of playing the Hiddink fantasy game, let's discuss whether jibbing Roy in favour of O'Neill would be a positive decision? ???

I`d go along with it. I favoured both he and kenny above roy so imo it would be an improvement.
But is he the best we could do?
Dont judge a book by the cover, unless you cover just another, because blind exceptance is a sign,

Would prefer Kenny came in for rest of season then look to someone like Di Matteo or Low , Pellegrino , getting Rafa back but please no O Neill - the guy has slated and disrespected our club numerous times now .

No to MON and Pellegrino (they're pretty much at the same level).

Where could we find a 40-something wonder-coach :D
