Saw Hurt Locker today.  I've got to say that it's one of the best modern war movies out there.

Feck me, what a shabite summer for movies this has been.  I usually like to get down to the local cineplex a half dozen times during the summer months but the absolute dross on offer this summer hasn't made that possible.  Sort it out, Hollywood. :D

In Bruges is on Channel 4 tonight
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Has anyone seen The Killer inside me ,been reliably informed its on a par with David Lynch's  masterpiece of film noir Blue Velvet ...
it  supposedly includes the most disturbing scenes ever seen on film .... not for the faint hearted but a brilliant performance from Casey Affleck who unlike his wooden Brother can actually act

Thats because they're running out of ideas.  I would hate to see what kind of movies they produce in 5 years or so.

They should take some ideas from the Hong Kong cinema.  Those guys know how to make good movies.

Simply a must see 8/10

Watched this today

It was a good film and I agree that the performances were very good but wasn't blown away with it

6/10 but worth a watch - it is something different then the usual drivel we are served

what can i say?.probably the most twisted and deranged movie i have seen but great all the same...its a B flicks daddy.Hated it but loved it and would hate to be in the middle......who makes these things up?

My brother told me about this, and I yipped. So I watched the trailer, and yipped some more. I think I will give this film a miss.

HOWEVER, the worst position would be last. At the front you have the advantage of no bum in your face, in the middle you have it but you can console yourself knowing, your dishing it out also but last, well, your screwed !
