Owen out for three weeks

Liverpool's Michael Owen has been ruled out for three weeks after scans revealed he tore a thigh muscle in the Uefa Cup win against Steua Bucharest.

He did'nt look fit in that match anyway, it is a blow to lose him, espically with Baros out.

We know what happens when Owen is out so why didn't Kermit do something about it? Roy Keane has turned round and said that the diving cheat also needs support up front, why do so many clubs take so long to do it? It isn't like Liverpool and manu can't afford a £10m striker

It makes me furious the number of strikers who have transferred for the same or less than Heskey. Anelka at £13m would have been a bargain but Kermit knew better

Because Roy Evans played him to much as a kid.

At least Houllier has protected Gerrard,Le Tallec and Pongelle.
