One good thing about this result, it will hit home how the players that played a good season like Bent, Johnson etc should have been picked rather than the big names. How Rooney is still on the pitch is beyond me, he has done nothing all tournament.

To me it just seems that these players absolutely hate each other.  The rivalries in the Prem are what kills the England team.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Yes but will it remembered in two years time for the euros and in another four years for Brazil. Or will it will be same old England selection name not merit policy

As for video technology as commentators are saying here you dont need that, you just need a linesman who can see.

no, because the only time Rooney is playing well is with Gerrard.

the team is too old, there is no pace. Rooney needs to be subbed, he has no hunger. The defence is old as feck... just needs a complete overhaul

Yeah im sure Stevie G and Lamps will be enjoying a few pints together   :D

Well England have no one to blame for themselves, they didnt have to be facing Germany today. Considering the group they were drawn in

Read somethign on twitter saying SA fans in the ground were singing 'happy happy' :D

Anyway everything aside England were poor and Germany were brilliant. I find it amusing how much everyone actually believed we could beat them. People say they only played well against Australia but did England play well against anyone? Quick word on Rooney, I think the media really drove too much hype into the guys head this time around and the pressure got to him.

Wow.... I think my new favourite German player is Thomas Muller now... what a player and still only 20. He came up from Bayern Munchen's youth team. I think he has the attributes to become a great player... he has height, pace, agility, he can pass, he can score...  :bowdown

Biggest Worl;d Cup flop from any side: Rooney.  Didnt come close to scoring all tournament.

Its as if we dont know how to play tournament football.

Ozil too.... top players these Germans.

Even Klose and Podolski who had such bad seasons with their clubs done well.
