Biggest Worl;d Cup flop from any side: Rooney.  Didnt come close to scoring all tournament.

Its as if we dont know how to play tournament football.

I reckon all the hype got to his head. Maybe there was too much pressure on him but he is deffo the biggest flop.

You have to laugh at those who try to put him in the same bracket as Messi.

Before the tournament I said England would go out against the first top team they play, I expected them to win the group and that half of the draw is easier (beat Ghana and then France who I expected to be in quarters).

England have never been good enough to bea the top countries on foreign soil in tournaments.

England doesn't produce players like scweinsteggar or Oilke , it is hustle and bustle and powerhouse players like SG and Lampard (who look great when Alonso,makele,ballack etckk do the routine work)

Great game though - should have been 8-4.

SG was terrible as was Rooney.

Didi Hamann says the English players are overrated (what I've been saying) and he is good mates with SG and Carra.

Liam Brady who works with Arsenal youths says the foreign players in the English league fill in for the deficiencies of the English players so the English lads can do what they are great at. SG and Lampard are great at what they do but England doesn't have crafty players, players to make the simple passes.

Personally I think both Hamann and Brady were simply reading my posts.
