Unlucky mate.

Anyone put anything on them to win it? 14 to 1 before tonight I heard. If Spain don't win it I think they just might... still need to see Brazil though.

Didn't he come up through Klinsmans backroom staff?  :D

His reputation will have gone up a few notches after tonight and rightly so. But he has been quietly improving Germany for some time now. But lets not forget Germany have plenty of talent even outside their starting 11. At club level could be a completley different picture. Eg Scolari from Brazil to Chelsea

It's true for the first time they actually look defensibly capable. As a rule of thumb people should never write Brazil off. Was it only in 2002 they qualified bny the skin of their teeth? I remember even Romario came out of retirement to score a few in the qualifiers.  :D

Dunga's Brazil just crushes their opponents, the likes of Messi, Tevez and Mascherano just cannot compete. He makes players like Nilmar and Kleberson look like World Beaters.

Im hoping for a comprehensive thrashing for the North Koreans. I have Robinho as my captain on fantasy footy. Got Bastos in there too. :)

Credit to Germany they were very good, Ozil in particular looked a class apart. Something went funny with Australia's "near-perfect defensive structure" (Low's words) and I'm keen to see how the German's fare against Serbia who are a decent side defensively.

Next up: Netherlands v Denmark, Cameroon v Japan, Italy v Paraguay.

What to do? Watch football or watch football?

My mates and everyone I know is saying England won't make it past the group stage. Talk about a total overreaction, I'm surprised the razorblades haven't come out of the bathroom cabinets yet. If we struggle to overcome both Algeria and Slovenia then I'll start to worry, but Capello has to sort it out. No Emile Heskey when we have Defoe and Crouch on the bench. If Rooney is going to be marked out every game we play then we need another striker who can score goals. Play Joe Cole on the left, not SWP. Play Milner on the right and play Gerrard and Barry in midfield. Lampard just doesn't perform for England and for Goodness shakes play David James in goal.

John John John, why couldnt  you show them the Pulp Fictions moves. Why did you have to go with Battlefield Earth tactics?
