International Football/Football World Wide - General Discussion

Never seen australia getting outplayed like this before! The Germans were just amazing, from their passing to their movement and in defence. They were very organized. Full credit to ozel, who looked class on the ball, showed composure, vision and his passing was excellent. I'd say he was MOTM followed by Muller who was also really good with the ball, taking on defenders and involving in all of Germany's plays.

Joacim Law is a terrific coach. He also masterminded the German's side in 2006 to the semi finals, Klinsman was only a moral and motivational coach.

As for the australians, ... Ouch! Sorry just got outplayed by a better and younger team :D

By the way, the fella scheinteiger also had a brilliant game playing the DM role.

tournament has still to really catch fire for me. been a lot of caution so far, mainly because there's so much to lose if teams lose their first game.

been a few excellent individual performances though, messi obviously and orzil for germany. looking forward to seeing the dutch later. should be decent to watch.

It was the Germans for god's sake, even Grease steps would have been better

If you think that was bad you should have seen him at the press conference before when it was announced he would be flying the Aussies out there. He danced a little jig with the ball in his HANDS then proceeded to try and spin it on his finger.

It's football not netball!

Some here are playing a game where each has been assigned a random team.. he got Italy. You will notice a few have national flags or international players as their avatars.  :D

This World Cup will probably be as bland as the last World Cup. It seems the win at all costs mentality has seeped into the International game in the same fashion it swept into the club game.
