I heard from a freind of a freind of Carra's dad (?? honest?), that Alonso wants to go and RM are going to pay 32 million, all that money is going towards Ribery plus a player (Hopefully Babel!!) - Pure rumour but from a fairly good source
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

If we sell Alonso we wouldn't buy Ribery, we would need to replace him with a player that plays in the same position. Marek Hamsik would be a decent replcement, him and Skrtel are good mates too.

El Nino whats with the blue font?

Xabi will hand in a transfer request today, so that RS get their 5 million worth.

So becuase Xabi has played for us for five years the little tw@t thinks we can just :censored: away £8 million in selling him.
I say feck him, if the ungrateful pr1ck wants to leave then make him hand in a transfer request, in fact I'd sell him to any other club other than the one he wants to go Real Madrid.

Mind you if I was him I would be a bit nervous about joining a club that only values him at £23 million when they have spunked around £150 million on Ronaldo and Kaka.

How does Tony Barrett know that Xabi has told Rafa he wants to go to Madrid ? Still see no quotes from Xabi nor Rafa to suggest that and i guess hard to tell Rafa as such when he is enjoying his honeymoon .

If he hands in a transfer request then we should just hold out until the sell-on clause has expired. Rafa has nothing to lose - he either ends up with the £35m he wanted or still has Alonso on a 3 year deal.

Even if he hated it here, Xabi is the type of person/player to still give his all in games. We saw that last season.

Oh that's nice so Xabi manages to screw us out of even more money. :no

Well I guess Xabi really believes in and loves the club then eh? When will you guys realise that players these days are just money grabbing vain pompus ignorant @rseholes. There is no honour now amongst footballers, or at least its very very rare, especially with these foreign imports.

If we got £35m then job well done. We did only sign him for about £10m.

Who would you replace him with though? I've mentioned Hamsik be4 but i don't think they are of the same quality.

Your judging Xabi on what is being said in the press .

Xabi has done nothing but give his all for this club and now your slagging him off due to paper talk ? where you praising him last year when he kept a dignified silence when the club were trying to flog him and after that he played with his heart once again last season .

Also if he does want to move how is he money grabbing ? is he wanting to go to get more money or is it because he wants to go back to spain ? and how is it money grabbing when he may want his old club to get a decent amount of money ?

Yeah because he has acted really grown up and honourably in all of this hasn't he. :no  FFS If he wanted to move why didn't he just come out day one and say he really appreciates Liverpool and has enjoyed playing here but now it's time for a change.  I would not have had any problem with that but this is sneaky and dishonest and what makes me fume is that if this is true then he is trying to screw a cash strapped club out of money. :veryangry

What does it mean to hand in a transfer request, does that mean the club have to sell the player, I've never really understood the legal ramifications of a transfer request apart from that a player looses his share of the transfer fee.?

Erm because he should have been back at training today, and hes not. Arebloa is back in Liverpool though.

And I trust Tony barrett more than anyone he is very, very close to Rafa.

His old club got a good deal of money when we bought him GYBS, do you really think Alonso gives two craps about his old club, if he did then I find it strange he wants to go to RM.

Yes I am basing this all on paper talk and if the papers are wrong then I retract it but if they are right then Alonso gets elevated to even more of a c0ck status than Oilslick Ronaldo.

Do you think it's ok that Alonso has waited until now to make his feeling known, why didn't he say it right at the start?
