Our last three games have been very flat - Roy-esque dare I say. Hopefully the ''honeymoon period'' under Kenny isn't wilting.

We've got every chance of winning this but we'll have to up our performances if we are to achieve that, hopefully we will, hopefully Gerrard will be back and perhaps we'll get to see a glimpse of Carroll.

I wouldnt say its wilting at all, even at the home game against Sparta our fans were pretty supportive considering there wasn't much worth shouting about on the pitch.

Three games? You think we were Roy-esque against Wigan?

We've had two EL games where we couldnt use either of our new strikers (for different reasons) and Gerrards been missing. Once they come back the roy-esque Liverpool you refer to will sharp disappear

It may look a bit defensive but with Johnson and Kelly playing as wing backs it would be more as if we were playing a 3-5-2. Plus, I want the team to get more used to this formation, no matter if it looks defensive and we're playing West Ham, it's our best formation and we should stick to it!

Anyway, I'd give Poulsen a chance since he played a good game last time against West Ham. I'd want the line-up to look like this:

                              Reina

                 Carra   Kyrgiakos   Skrtel
      Kelly                                          Johnson

                            Poulsen
                                              Meireles
               Gerrard

                           Kuyt     Suarez

Most sane people tend to judge form on recent games not against certain opposition. Poulsen played sh!t in his last game, and most others he plays. Put money on him NOT starting, if you're sensible.

Damjan, seriously, I think you need to read your posts over and over again before posting them. Actually, don't post them.

The feck you want? I'll post what ever I want! You could have just say that you dont like Poulsen and that we shouldnt play him.

:D

Just get our best players out there and attack is all I ask. Dont put the focus on shape and formations but positive thinking and pushing people forward. Hammers are rock bottom and will be nervy so we just need to go for it and put them on the back foot from the off. I would be tempted to go with the wingbacks that served us well down at Chelsea because their full backs arent much cop.

Expect to see Poulssen nowhere near the starting 11. Maybe just giving Lucas' boot's a quick polish! Other than that I'd like to see us back to full strength (almost) and a good performance to see off the cockney-enders :)

I think I prefer 3 at the back.  We seem to play better, pass more, and play at a higher pace.
