Hardly any off the ball runs or anyone overlaping to stretch their defence.
We are gonna find it very hard to score if we keep the same strategy and personal.

Thats a midtable attitude. Looks like it will end 0-0.

it's painful to watch...it's STOKE FFS....at ANFIELD!

and we're approaching the game like it's Barca or Juventus.

How hard is it for people who play football fulltime to learn how to take a corner properly? I swear my ratio of rubbish to decent corners is no worse than Adam/Downing/Gerrard's, and my ratio sucks.

johnson runs into the ball and NO ONE in the box.. F**k me...it's like watching Newcastle from 13 years ago and if Kenny doesn't make a tactical change then we've got no chance...

Think Bellamy should come on early in the 2nd for Kuyt

Sorry lads it's all on Kenny. Playing Kuyt as a lone striker ,Carragher as a DM ,no one getting into the box ,I have no idea why he is promoting this mediocre ,cowardly play. His goal is Champion League spot and not the Carling cup ,somebody should remind him.

It's just poor, weak mentality, no aggression, its almost like we are on strike from playing well

Its an admission that all our best players are at the back or in midfield so they have crowded those areas with nothing doing up front. Its a system design to win a game 1-0 and maybe in the last 20 mins when they will eventually take more of a risk. If we dont sign a striker in the next 2 weeks then god knows whats happening like.

I think we need to make a simple change. Right now we are playing:

           CB   CB   CB
WB                              WB

          CM   CM   CM

                AM

                ST

I think we need to put two strikers up front - Kuyt is so mobile that he often isn't up top when we need him, and the midfield aren't getting into the box enough. I think we need to replace the  AM with Bellamy or Carroll to play alongside Kuyt. I'd also push one of the CM up to support them:

          CM        CM

                AM

            ST     ST

Bellamy and Shelvey for me, both players look to play the ball quickly and make runs forward, which is exactly what we need.

Very very underwhelming at the moment, we look to be content just to keep possession!
