We will beat these like but Carroll again very poor first half there. I would expect us to run a couple more in second half.

Mate I'm not Carrolls biggest fan but look at the treatment he's getting from the Brighton cd.

Think Maxi could do a better job against these. Would have Andy or the thoroughly useless Downing off. Henderson not much better! Kuyt would do a better job.

Actually thought he had a pretty decent first half.  some nice work in build up play, active in the box, all he didn't do was score.

Downing putting in crosses that look good, they'd look even better if he waited until there was someone to get on the end of them :p .

Why does Carroll always makes a back pass when better  to pass or move forward with the ball ?

This really p's me off about our play at the moment, when we do get decent crosses into the box we've nobody busting to get on the end of them, everyone is just standing admiring it. If anyone does make a move it's usually away from where the ball is aimed.
