Burnley would agree lol

as i say, its a old superstition that we need to take care when we play clubs that start with a B in cup games.

i dont have all the facts on this but have heard it a few times, its not just about us not beating them, it covers things like players getting hurt and players getting bookings and stuff.

Seems like it may very well be between spurs sunderland and us.  I'd like to avoid Sunderland for now.

I think it would be valuable to play some of the players who haven’t had a game in a while. This is probably going be the last time some of them will be rotated into the team as it’s likely we will only be facing Premier League opposition for the rest of the season. As long as the team has balance and isn’t full of reserve players we should win it.

                        Reina

Kelly     Carragher     Coates     Aurelio

             Spearing     Adam

       Shelvey     Suarez     Maxi

                       Carroll

Subs: Kuyt, Bellamy, Downing, Gerrard, Johnson, Skrtel, Doni

id like to see us take no chances and field the strongest line up available to us and also its our last run out before wembley so the players need it.
even though we beat them already this season and from what i remember they werent that bad and tested us quite a few times in the second half.were at home for this one and they will be well up for it so i hope we arent complacent.
2.0 stevie and suarez.

Never write of lower league teams. Better sides have already been put out so we can't take anything for granted. Also there are still 2 other sides in the competition who are above us in the league to we shouldn't be thinking of a final so soon.

remember that kenny has pretty much said that performances in this game will decide who gets to play the carling cup final. he'll put a strong team out and we'll probably win the game by a single goal without playing especially pretty football.

I think this is going to be a very hard game, i dont see them coming here and sitting back.
We must try and put them in their place within the first ten mins of the game or its going to be hard work.
