how's Owen's reception?
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

That was a good laugh to watch.  It was nice seeing the likes of Danny Murphy, Jerzy Dudek, Luis Garcia and Gary Mac pulling on the top once again.  Joe Cole was clearly having a ball and Babel looked to be enjoying himself too.  The slew of youngsters that got some minutes will have loved a proper run-out at Anfield and it was good for Konchesky and Brad Jones to make their (sort of) debuts at Anfield also.  Both played well, by the way, with Jones in particular making a few nice stops in the second half.  Carra certainly enjoyed himself too and the two penalties were quality.  Top stuff. :nod
