We started badly but recovered from a stupid mistake to smash leeds.

Still think top 4 is gone. But let's hope we make a fight of it.

Always good to see Leeds get battered. I still hate them from 50 years ago.

Didn't think we were great for large parts of the 1st half. To many sloppy passes and nothing at the end of so many moves. Once we got the first nerves settled and we improved. Credit as well to kick on when they got one back. Only complaint I'd have is not making changes till the last 10 minutes. Still it's a good win against a poor team.

Didn't expect us to thrash them bit then again we are a weird team this season. Nice to see Jota scoring a couple of goals, lads played well in the second half.

I also believe top 4 is gone but like others at least I'd like to see us fight for it.

For sake of argument only way is if we win all of our games and hope Newcastle drop points, looking at their fixtures it is possible but a far fetched dream.

I struggle to understand why we are cr@p in first half then dramatically improve in second. Same against Arsenal and if it were a better team than Leeds we could have easily been behind at half time.

Come on Bungle we can take a lot from it. Thrashing any Premier league team is not easy. Yes Leeds were poor but our performance especially in the second half made them look considerably worse than they are. Great to see the goals coming from a very impressive attacking force.

Nobody can complain about the sublime result after an initial woeful start, however, it has taken the clever Klopp over three years to realize that Trent is not a defender but a proper midfielder!!!!!  I thought Jota and Jones along with Trent were outstanding

I agree dev, sorry Bungle mate I usually find myself agreeing with your posts but away games against teams in the bottom half is an area where we have struggled big time this season and I mean big time, it was great to see us finally give one of them a hammering.

This inverted full back thing which allows Trent to spend most of the game as a central midfielder is the positional tweak we’ve been desperate for. He’s been nothing short of superb. Never really been sold on Jones but credit where it’s due he’s been a revelation as well. Maybe we don’t need to spend tons of money in the summer after all

FSG will be ecstatic about that, anyhow yup Trent is more suited for that role. I'm hoping we will see this flourish for the remainder of the season. With Trent doong well in this role and Diaz back we should end the season strongly.
Let's win all our games and see how the rest unfold.

We've been too open all season and too vulnerable to the counter attack. The players either side of Fabinho haven't provided enough defensively. Playing Trent in this new role means Fabinho has some support when we immediately lose the ball which means we are able to counter press effectively or slow down the attack enough so that the players caught ahead of the ball have time to get back. So it's not just getting the best out of Trent from an offensive perspective, it also makes us less soft through the middle.

And with Jones in midfield it's been great to see someone who has the energy and physicality to press the opposition and also be very press resistant when we have the ball.

Why does it take Klopp 12 months to make a an obvious decision?
