Effin tough game this, Andrews to his great credit has got them all pulling in the same direction, working their ar.ses off and fighting for every loose ball like their lives depend on it so if we do manage to beat them down there the players will deserve a big pat on the back.
Our players are far superior to their's in terms of technical ability but as the oldest [and true-est] adage in football states - hard work will always beat talent unless talent works hard - in other words footy is the type of game where even if you are better than the opposition you have to at least match them for effort and commitment if you want to take home the 3 points.
What Brentford do, particularly at home, is set that effort and commitment bar very high, if you want to beat them your lungs are going to burn, your legs are going to feel like lead and your body is going to be covered in bumps and bruises when you get back into the sheds.
If i supported a smaller club Keith Andrew's Brentford is exactly what i'd want them to be like, you'd have a lot of pride in a team like that who give nothing away for nothing, if big clubs want the points then they've got to earn them.
