Nice 3 points and a good convincing win for us, back to 4th.

I get that Solanke is only a chiseller... And Ings is a crock.... Surely though one or other should show us they're capable of scoring? From what I've seen, not just today, i don't think either could score with a fistful of tenners in a hoorhouse

Very good today Ox with arguably his best performance in MF and Robertson I felt put a hella shift in, still rate him above Moreno.

Bournemouth will be disappointed with their effort but its just not being that good and winning is our eternal problem.

That was a great performance, thought Chamberlain played really well, his pressing and harrying was superb, I know he's prone to injuries but he must be incredibly fit to press with that intensity for 90 minutes.
Robertson and Henderson had really good games too, in fact they all did.

I would be tempted to start Ox against Arsenal but given its away at his ex club, facing the players and shyte from fans i don't think he would perform well.

Glad to see Lallana getting minutes which is a solid option for our squad.

Salah with 20 goals now :).

It's puzzling how we can dominate and win games like this easily, but we could not do this V West Brom.
Consistency is a bit of a problem for us, so a top four finish is not guaranteed yet.

We tend to play better away from home, at Anfield teams sit deep and get everyone behind the ball but away from home we get more space to operate in. Its no coincidence that a lot of our bigger wins have come in away games (Maribor 7-0, Brighton 5-1, West Ham 4-1 etc etc)

Decent performance, A clean sheet and 3 points  :buttrock
Gomez and Robertson both played well. Coutinho is just some player and Salah again produces but Motm for me was Firmino. Relentless stuff  :nod
Beat Arsenal now and it will be a happy Xmas day  :buttrock

Excellent performance. We are able to look like a real quality outfit on occasions and with performances like this you have to wonder how the hell we are marginally closer to the top of the table than we are the bottom three.

Inconsistency is our problem. We needed to grind out a 1-0 win over WBA but couldn't do it. In the next game, we look mesmerising and everybody wax lyrical about our attacking play.

Feet on the ground for me until those inefficiencies are covered.

Never the less, that was a good performance. Bournemouth played into our hands a bit as they like to play football a bit more expansively and give us that space WBA didn't.

Bournemouth tried to play football and that is why we dominated, unlike West Brom that just dug in and defended. I think we will dominate Arsenal on Friday barring strange refereeing decisions or injuries as they could not park a bus even if Maureen was their manager and we like playing those type of teams.
